We had the most wonderful day. Sherif was amazing and knowledgeable. He is a friendly chap and his commentary made for a great day out on the Great Ocean Road. Driving was impeccable. The scenery was amazing. This is a long day from 8 am to 9.30 pm. Lunch stops and dinner stops at your own expense in two very lovely towns. lots of cafes, and take away shops to choose from in both towns.

What a wild a variable country we live in. We got to see so much in just one day it was amazing. Beautiful swimming beaches. Quiet rainforest. Koalas, cockatoos and parrots. Rolling green farmland with sheep and cattle. Plains. Dramatic cliffs and rock formations. There was everything! Thanks Bert – great guide with lots of interesting facts to impart.

Most of the sights were beautiful. The guide was good. I wish the timing was such that the sun was not in my eyes or directly in the camera when taking photos at the Twelve Apostles. Overall, ok tour. I wish we had more time at the Fern Gully.

While the whole trip was absolutely incredible, I was particularly surprised and delighted by the rainforest! That there can be gorgeous rolling green hills, spectacular ocean views and a subterranean rainforest all within such close proximity to one another is mind boggling! A trip to Melbourne is not complete without doing this must see tour!

The scenery was fantastic – very comfortable and easy ride there. Emma was a great driver – she could have added a bit more general Australia facts along the way – but she did fantastic. If I could suggest something – I would add more time for lunch and not stop for supper at a place that only really has fast food options – I don’t come to Australia to eat KFC or McDonalds, but the lunch options at Appolo Bay were great – would have been nice to be there and hour or more to enjoy.

We had an absolutely fantastic time on this tour!! Pickup at the Rendezvous Hotel in Melbourne was seamless. Red, our driver and tour guide was great! He shared lots of information as we traveled from the city to the Great Ocean Road. We never felt rushed if we got off at one of the photo stops along the way. The weather was perfect for our tour on January 22. The tea and cake stop at Torquay Surf Beach was nice, along with lunch in Apollo Bay. Definitely try the scallop pie! The walk through the rainforest at Mait’s Rest was stunning. 12 Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge were awesome! Red provided comic relief along the way and had a great playlist of music for the journey. He had the whole bus singing along! Highly recommend this trip!

Overall, would do it again – the 12 apostles were gorgeous and a unique experience. Our driver Debby was a very welcoming, informative host who treated everyone equally with respect and gave clear instructions. Kept the tour exciting with a special short stop to see an amazing congregation of cockatoos. Would have been nice to have more time to spend at the 12 Apostles rather than time spent at the first stop having tea and cake with a regular ocean view. Also, the bus itself wasn’t the most comfortable but we made do.

Rachel was great. She was entertaining and a nice person. She made us comfortable.
The vehicle needs to be better. The seats were very tight for such a journey. The van needed to have 12 people instead of 24. There also needs to be an overhead compartment for jackets etc.
