We had the best time going to the Hover Dam with Bob (our tour guy). He was so knowledgeable about the history of La Vegas and we learned so much from Bob. He started talking about the history from starting the trip to each part of town we passing through. And it was entertaining too.

Wanted to rate lower but giving 3 stars due to our tour guide/operator Melissa, such a nice person. Also the vehicle was decent, pretty good and comfortable.
However, I booked this tour expecting a stop on/at hoover dam since they’re branding by the name of it. Disappointed that it wasn’t worth the money, they charge you for Hoover Dam but show it to you from far, far away and do not make a stop at Hoover Dam at all.
Another thing they advertise as pick up from your hotel but after you book they will change the pickup to some other location and require you to walk to that location and if you don’t arrive on given time they’ll leave and there’s no refunds. Cheaper tour options are available if you are okay with any pickup and drop off options. Go with them.
So overall if you’re interested in stopping at/on hoover dam, seeing it from close, to take pictures on Hoover Dam, or to take a guided tour inside Hoover Dam and also want your preferred pickup not theirs then DO NOT BOOK THIS TRIP.
But if you don’t care from how far you’re seeing the Hoover Dam, and if you do not care what is your pick up and drop off then you can book this tour for higher charges or you can look for other cheaper options which offer the same but at lower prices.
I was naive to think that because they’re charging higher means they will be better or at least will get a closer look or stop at Hoover Dam. Could have saved money and booked other trip had I known this.

Our tour guide, Bob, was very knowledgeable, kind, and funny. I felt safe while he was driving. He never rushed us on our stops. He made sure we were comfortable. The tour itself was interesting. We learned a lot about the Hoover damn and many spots along the way.

Our tour guide Skip – was great! He shared good history, was funny (“well, whatever; it is what it is…”), gave us good dinner tips for later and kept us entertained the whole ride. Beyond seeing the dam. He gave us amazing photo opps and is just a good guy. The tour overall was informative, scenic and long enough to keep our teens off their devices.

Short tour but enough time to drive over the dam and at least visit two states (Arizona). We did not stop at Hemenway Park as described to see the sheep. We got to see some sheep by chance at a gift shop near the parking lots above the dam. The bridge access was nice (stairs or ramp available). The guide was very chatty with much information to give. You will not stop at the dam to get close pictures or near the actual walking area.

The dam is truly a must see sight, from the bridge (this tour) or up close. Several restroom opportunities. Desert rams are an amazing perk to the tour. Pickup and dropoff from the Strip is convenient. Skip was patient and chill.

Most memorable part was of course seeing the dam and learning its history from our guide. On our way to the dam, our guide was a fountain of knowledge of Vegas past and present; pointing out landmarks along the way. She also talked about the various communities that sprang up during the building of the dam. If you’re looking for an enjoyable tour that doesn’t take all day and are a bit of a ‘how did they do it’ kind of person; this is the tour for you. Every question was answered and everyone of our group were happy they picked this tour company.
