The ride was great and full of adrenaline. wish they would have advised to wear beanie and face cover as the winter wind to blast your face and it was painful, the face warmer provided didn’t cut. Also, although the company has their pick up service with their own vehicle, I wasn’t offered this and the cost of taxi there and back was dear.

The jet boat experience was amazing and would highly recommend. Only reason for 4 stars was the lack of communication around the shuttle service. No mention of the need to pre-book in advance in any of the communications and left us needing to get our own transport out of town adding time and $$ we hadn’t planned for. At the check-in desk it was mentioned we should have booked direct to get the shuttle, why offer the sale through a 3rd party then? it just dampened the mood a little to start the day but finished off with a bang after the ride.

From the moment we arrived through to when we completed the shotover jet experience everyone was friendly and wanting to make sure we had a great time. The skill of our driver, Nadia, while she was giving us a thrill of a ride also looked out for our safety. She was amazing!! I highly recommend the Shotover Jet to anyone wanting to have an adrenaline racing ride in a stunning location. How they navigate a jet boat through some of the narrow sections on the river is quite something. The Shotover Jet is totally worth it!
