Very Unreliable and Irresponsible Ride Service (Shuttle or Taxi)
On May 1st 2024, we had scheduled an early morning pick up to FCO airport (Rome Italy) by this company called Italy Limousine Service.
At exact pick up time we step out of house to catch our ride but there was no sign of the van or the driver.
We tried calling the company from 4:15am to 4:30AM, but no one answered the phone, called Viator customer service, they couldn’t get a hold of the company dispatch/office either.
Since we did not have the driver’s phone number either or know about his location, decided to call Uber so we won’t miss our flight.
Later we were contacted by both Viator and this company (Italy Limousine Service) saying that there was a miscommunication and confusion on pick up location, which was a lie, the exact address for our pick up location was provided in the reservation form.
This company could have avoided this incident entirely by just taking couple simple steps:
-Once driver had reached the close by vicinity (i.e. destination), he could have simply called me and tell me his location (they claim a message was sent on the Whatsapp, I don’t check Whatsapp regularly, specially if the message is outside my contact list) . So lack of communication was driver’s fault, not mine.
-The company could have sent a message a night before, telling me the driver’s information, just simply his name and his contact number. Again lack of communication by this operator.
-Have an emergency contact number (to be able to reach out by Viator customer service, when I was not able to contact this company at 4:15AM, and I ended up calling Viator for help)
-Afterall this company claims to operate 24/7. Why can’t they answer their phone when I called or Viator agent called.
I made a mistake to choose this company over Uber just to save a bit money, but you don’t need to make the same mistake, this company is not trustworthy and reliable. Don’t take a risk, specially, if you need to be at some place on an exact time, like airport drop off in early hours of morning.
Knowingly, that they messed up, caused un-necessary stress and additional cost, the company refused to refund my money 100%.

When visiting Rome for a bucket list trip, we had Roberto pick us up and was right on time and wait for us with we left baggage claim. We had alot of luggage for 4 people for 21 days. I let them know in advance of our luggage amount and they had a new mini van wait for us with high back leather seats and water. I would highly recommend this transfer company.

Scheduled pick up from hotel to airport in Rome. Company recommended appropriate time for pickup. All email communication was included in booking details so was easy to look back on what was arranged. Had to change pick up time the day before, because of airline required timing. No problem changing. Emails were responded to very quickly. Driver arrived ahead of schedule. Very happy with the whole process.
