the trip was wonderful because the location we went to was so much fun ! i was a bit disappointed that i paid 100 dollars for a trip that might have costed me only 25 ringget because we were only driven to the place nothing extra. but service was good, the driver was there on time, he was entertaining and provided some details on the road to the Cable Car Langkawi.

During Ramadan (May-Jun of every year), operating hours for Cable Car & SkyBridge are restricted. Entry to SkyBridge is allowed till 4:30 PM, which is one of the key things to do in Langkawi. For a tour operator who has been doing this for years, this should be something that they know. Our tour started at 1:45 PM and the cab driver took us to the Cable Car & SkyBridge activity the last. We were denied tickets to SkyBridge. Moreover, he took us to an activity which was not part of the itinerary. If we would have opted for it, we would have lost additional 1 hour and eventually would have missed the Cable Car ride as well. So the operator / driver tried his best to avoid paying for the entry ticket to Cable Car and SkyBridge but luckily we managed to at least wrangle one of these out.
Recommendation: Tell your driver to get you to that activity first. It opens at 9AM. It is supposed to be open till 7 PM so that you can watch the sunset from Cable Car or the SkyBridge.

Children under the age of 2 there is no charge as per Viator website. Even at the Cable car center it was stated under 2 no charge But I was asked to pay RM 70 but the tour agent for my son who is 1.5 years old.

It was a great day, fine weather all the way . The local guide was good and get us the necessary tickets and were on the express lane to hop on to the skycab. We did not queue as the usher gives us priority….was great.
Going up, the view was fantastic as the weather was bright and slowly warming up. Tourist are encourage to start early at 9.00am.
At the middle station we took some pictures and proceed to the highest station and the skybridge. It was early and not much crowd. We spend about 30 mins taking pictures. As we took the skycab down we notice more and more tourist and the crowd getting bigger.
At the ground station we went into the 3D art , 6D motion & skytrex.
Overall it was very good and would recommend visitors to spend more time at this place.

We never received a confirmation from the tour operator or Viator about the exact pick up point, luckily one of the locals was so friendly to call them. Our driver was Mohammed, his English wasn’t very good. He drove us to a beach, where we got an introduction about a boat tour to the mangroves, when I looked at the map I saw that we were all the way north of the island which is not in the direction of the cable car. He tried to sell us an extra boat ride of 2 hours that we did not want at all. When we started driving again, he was talking about a waterfall and we stopped again at a kind of travel agency desk. I went to Mohammed and I explained to him that we booked a tour of 4 hours to go to the Cable Car. He explained us that it’s going to be cloudy overthere now in the morning and that’s better to go in the afternoon.. he only wanted to sell other tours to us! After we had this conflict with him, he almost didn’t say anything anymore in the car of he gave barely any narration. When we (finally) arrived at the Cable Car we first had to line up to change our Travel Agent voucher for actual tickets and then line up for the Cable Car. We checked with Mohammed when we hadto be back and he just said take your time. When we came back to the car, he asked us if we wanted to go for lunch. I said to him that we only wanted to do the itinerary that we paid for and included a stop at Eagle Square. At that moment the drama started as he said that we would go over the 4 hours duration of the tour that was scheduled? Well, the droves us to the other side of the island to try to sell us more! At the end, after phone calls with his boss etc, he droves us over to Eagle Square and back to the cruise port where we arrived 1,5 hour later. Would not recommend this tour!
The views from the Cable Car where stunning. The ticket for the little train between the top cable car station and the start of the skybridge are not included, and involves a lot of stairs so I would book that at the kiosk like we did.

Great experience for anyone visiting Langkawi, even though I dont particulary like heights, the view itself is worth the trip. If you are like me, just look straight ahead, views are spectacular. Be prepared, it is very hot, and humid, take water up with you and dress in something cool, and walking shoes as well.

We were picked up from our hotel and the weather did not look good and onway to the cable car it was pouring with rain and because of the cloud we could not see the cable cars or the mountain. Whilst I doubted it, our guide was confident we would be able to go up. He said they were opening at 10.30 and at 10.30 the clouds cleared and away we went. This is an awesome attraction with fantastic views from the top with views all around the island.

The best part of our experience was of course Abu, our tour guide who made the trip all the more memorable. On time pickup from hotel and a comfortable journey to the Oriental Village were followed by a breathtaking experience on the skycab and an exhilarating walk on the skybridge. We booked this tour for our family, which included 6adults, one 2yr old and a 12yr old. The tour guide was great, picked us up on time from our hotel. Even texted us the night before to remind us. He spoke English very well and was so helpful. All throughout the day he was telling us about and showing us everything about the island of langkawi. He made sure we were always comfortable and happy. He organized all our tickets, all we had to do was just go onto the cable cars and walk the sky bridge. And he was there waiting for us when we finished. He drove us to a popular restaurant to have dinner and waited in the car until we were finished and made sure we got back to the hotel all safe and well. It was a great day, we kept his number for the rest of the trip and asked him so many questions and organized things through him. He always made sure we got the best prices and was always happy to help us. This tour was definitely worth it, the views were spectacular. Highlight for us was the friendly tour guide, who ended up helping us out for the whole rest of our trip in langkawi. His number: +60 12-365 9345 He will make sure you will be safe and looked after. This tour is not worth the money. The tour guide hardly spoke so apart from seeing the Eagle, we may as well have just got a taxi. The cost would have been £70 instead of £150 for 3 people. I have done many Viator trips across Asia and the guides usually give you history of the island, interesting facts about the life and culture. We didn’t have any if that so although the cable car and sky walk are great, just get a Grab!

Ah Langkawi was a dream to visit! Stunning place! Everything was extremely well planned out by the company! My driver was there before time and took care of me all along! He gave me a lot of recommendations and infomation about Langkawi! Getting to the sky bridge was a breeze and the views were amazing! Tour wurde als Halbtagstour (ca. 4 Std) mit Skybridge, Eagle Square und 3 weiteren Stops gebucht. Wir wurden von einer malayischen Fahrerin in ihrem Privat-PKW gefahren. Auto war klimatisiert und sauber. Die Fahrerin sprach englisch. Gefahren wurde zunächst in eine Richtung entgegengesetzt der Skybridge. Der erste der “3 weiteren Stops” war ein Quad-Verleih, der nie auf unserem Programm stand. Ein weiterer war eine bis zu 4-stündige Bootstour, die zusätzlich doppelt so teuer sein sollte, wie die gebuchte Halbtagstour (eine Verkürzung auf 1-2 Std. hätte das gleiche gekostet). Da wir Sorge hatten, daß die Skybridge danach nicht mehr zu schaffen wäre, sind wir weiter gefahren. An der Skybridge war dann ausreichend Zeit, die Express Lane hat gut funktioniert. Letzter Stop war ein belebter Strand, an dem wir eine Erfrischung einnehmen konnten.
Die Laune unserer Fahrerin verschlechterte sich mit jedem abgelehnten “Zusatzangebot”. Touristische Erklärungen gab es anfangs nur wenige, zum Schluß gar keine mehr.

On the day of our visit the cable car to the sky bridge was closed in the morning for maintenance. Our guide added an impromptu mangrove cruise, as well as a visit to the bat caves and fish farm while we waited. Watching the eagles the island is named for swoop and fly over the river was fantastic, as were the monkeys jumping onto and into our boat from the shore as we cruised by.

The best part of our experience was of course Abu, our tour guide who made the trip all the more memorable. On time pickup from hotel and a comfortable journey to the Oriental Village were followed by a breathtaking experience on the skycab and an exhilarating walk on the skybridge. It was a wonderful experience and if you’re in Langkawi..go for it!

We booked this tour for our family, which included 6adults, one 2yr old and a 12yr old. The tour guide was great, picked us up on time from our hotel. Even texted us the night before to remind us. He spoke English very well and was so helpful. All throughout the day he was telling us about and showing us everything about the island of langkawi. He made sure we were always comfortable and happy. He organized all our tickets, all we had to do was just go onto the cable cars and walk the sky bridge. And he was there waiting for us when we finished. He drove us to a popular restaurant to have dinner and waited in the car until we were finished and made sure we got back to the hotel all safe and well. It was a great day, we kept his number for the rest of the trip and asked him so many questions and organized things through him. He always made sure we got the best prices and was always happy to help us. This tour was definitely worth it, the views were spectacular. This tour is not worth the money. The tour guide hardly spoke so apart from seeing the Eagle, we may as well have just got a taxi. The cost would have been £70 instead of £150 for 3 people. I have done many Viator trips across Asia and the guides usually give you history of the island, interesting facts about the life and culture. We didn’t have any if that so although the cable car and sky walk are great, just get a Grab!

Ah Langkawi was a dream to visit! Stunning place! Everything was extremely well planned out by the company! My driver was there before time and took care of me all along! He gave me a lot of recommendations and infomation about Langkawi! Getting to the sky bridge was a breeze and the views were amazing! Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a hassle-free, ana amazing time!

Tour wurde als Halbtagstour (ca. 4 Std) mit Skybridge, Eagle Square und 3 weiteren Stops gebucht. Wir wurden von einer malayischen Fahrerin in ihrem Privat-PKW gefahren. Auto war klimatisiert und sauber. Die Fahrerin sprach englisch. Gefahren wurde zunächst in eine Richtung entgegengesetzt der Skybridge. Der erste der “3 weiteren Stops” war ein Quad-Verleih, der nie auf unserem Programm stand. Ein weiterer war eine bis zu 4-stündige Bootstour, die zusätzlich doppelt so teuer sein sollte, wie die gebuchte Halbtagstour (eine Verkürzung auf 1-2 Std. hätte das gleiche gekostet). Da wir Sorge hatten, daß die Skybridge danach nicht mehr zu schaffen wäre, sind wir weiter gefahren. An der Skybridge war dann ausreichend Zeit, die Express Lane hat gut funktioniert. Letzter Stop war ein belebter Strand, an dem wir eine Erfrischung einnehmen konnten.
Die Laune unserer Fahrerin verschlechterte sich mit jedem abgelehnten “Zusatzangebot”. Touristische Erklärungen gab es anfangs nur wenige, zum Schluß gar keine mehr.

Zoals op de Viator side vermeld. We werden ingedeeld met nog 6 anderen.
We wisten dit een dag vooraf. De chauffeur deed zijn best, maar was niet echt een

On the day of our visit the cable car to the sky bridge was closed in the morning for maintenance. Our guide added an impromptu mangrove cruise, as well as a visit to the bat caves and fish farm while we waited. Watching the eagles the island is named for swoop and fly over the river was fantastic, as were the monkeys jumping onto and into our boat from the shore as we cruised by.

Feiz, our driver was great–took us to the best places, provided useful info and assistance, and was knowledgeable and friendly. The agency was flexible about our tight cruise schedule. The sites were spectacular. “A great time” as my husband said.
