The trip was a good introduction to Perth and Fremantle, although the driver / guide did not talk much about history, did not take us to the museum quarter or even mentioned it. We passed by the architecturally interesting concert hall – the guide did not mention it either. He was very knowledgeable about local real estate prices. The visit to the Kings Park and Botanic Garden was the highlight, as was the river boat trip from Fremantle to Perth, which included wine tasting.

The vehicle was comfortable, the lady who was driving had awesome knowledge on Perth and was courteous. The trip fully explained the basic and historical facts of Perth.
I recommend every tourist/settler in Perth to take this city tour within 1-2 days of arrival. this will help them to know the things and how to move around in Perth.

I’d suggest another tour. We there were a number in our group got dropped off for the ferry at 11:15am but it had just left so were told the next ferry was another hour an half wait, this was after being rushed through the tour of Fremantle to get there. Not very well planned at all on the operators parts. There were at least 10 of us stranded on the dock so we ended up walking back into the Fremantle and wandering around for the hour and half. What on earth was the rush for?

Rushed experience. The winds and weather were the apparent cause of the rush. We left the tour and opted to finish the tour on foot and via train return to Perth. Thank goodness we did. There were no winds and little rain. If they were the real causes, the experience should have been cancelled and refunded, not rushed

We only had a few days in Perth & this was a good, easy way to get a feel for the area with some local history & knowledge thrown in. Did the weekend tour to get the Fremantle markets. Could have skipped the boat trip back to Perth as we did it again the next day going to Rottnest.

Didn’t start off too well with Rose , not waiting to pick us up . We arrived early and stood under a tree as it was raining and when we approached the bus it loaded on two people and proceeded to leave ! My husband flagged it down luckily and they stopped up the road . They were aware of us being picked up there but did not wait at all .. then bus proceeded to another pick up point and sideswiped a van as it pulled in to pick up .. didn’t even stop to let them know they hit them . The large black skid mark on the side of the bus was proof and we found this quite unacceptable . Then we changed into a smaller bus with Chris , and it leaked quite badly , water just flooding out of the roof all over two seats and the floor and when bus turned corners the water blew back to us and we were wet .. other than that the day was enjoyable
