I had a wonderful weekend safari with Tony from Perfect Wilderness Tours. The value for money was spot on. Once we arrived at AA Amboseli Lodge, lunch was provided, then time out before a late afternoon/early safari. So many elephants! The landscape is something else and to see many animals wandering was great. After dinner, the Masai men came in and performed a show explaining their dances and gave a little insight to their lives. Yes you are invited to ‘look’ at their crafts they bring in, but that’s part of the charm, I didn’t mind, they weren’t pushy and you could barter well. An early start saw us at the park for 7am and we seriously drove non-stop for over 5hrs. Too many sights to mention, all amazing, but was lucky to see a mum and baby hippo out of the swamp. Sadly no lion sightings but get it can be like a needle in a haystack. I was solo on my tour and Tony was knowledgeable, accommodating with my questions and professional. Definitely recommend!

We even saw hundreds of flamingos, elephants and hyenas along the road, and Kilimanjaro in the background when the weather permitted. The AA Amboseli Logde was a very nice hotel and we highly recommend our guide (Black Santa)
