This was an amazing half day out. The driver arrived promptly to our hotel and organised all our entry and tour guides to the three activities. Tour guides weren’t pushy and we didn’t feel out of our depth as two women during our trip at all. Would recommend.

Excellent explanation of the mud pool experience. Natural spring spa was wonderful. We opted to have a massage, soooo relaxing. It would be good idea to mention byo towel as they are not supplied.

Really enjoyed all of the things this tour had to offer. The Hindu Temple was so beautiful. The mud pools were so much fun especially putting mud all over you and then going in the therapeutic pool to wash off. The garden of the sleeping giant had such beautiful orchids, flowers, plants and trees. This tour is a must.

We had a fantastic time on this tour and would highly recommend! We had just arrived at the airport and needed to be dropped off in a different location and the company worked with us seamlessly to be able to take our luggage with and coordinate different pickup/drop off. Our driver Sashi was AMAZING and made our trip so interesting by sharing lots of information and details. He was our own private tour guide! The stops at the flower/farmers market were wonderful and we even tried some fruit. The hot springs/mud bath and massage were heaven and so was the garden we went to. Our first experience in Fiji and it set the tone for the rest of the trip! Thank you Sashi!!!

Great experience and lots of fun in the mud pools. Well worth the visit. Also enjoyed seeing the local market and having fresh coconut. Driver was very friendly and informative 👍.

Such a fun day with Sami! Loved them mudpools and all the sleeping giant mountains. Our tour guide was informative and fun. We could have stopped anywhere along the way. The car was air conditioned and clean and modern. Shopping was easy and pick up and drop off to our door. Great morning!!

Our own private driver for the day, “Sammi” our driver 5 GOLD Stars. Our tour was brilliant with loads of information provided about Fiji and surrounds by our driver. We started our morning at the Sri Siva Subramaniya Swami Temple, colourful and bright. Continuing onto the farmers market, where the flower arrangements were superb. The view of the sleeping giants were clear from the gardens below with over 2000 orchid varieties. Our next stop was “Jacks of Fiji” locally manufactured garments, trinkets and wooden products. It was this stop that one of our party purchased a Fijian Lali Drum as a centre piece to her dining table in Australia. Our last stop saw us slopping cold wet mud on our bodies and then hopping into the warm therapeutic waters under the moutains. Fabulous Day Out.

While we very much enjoyed the Mud Pools as well as seeing the orchid gardens, our experience was sadly ruined by a weird driver and his old, shabby, smelly and dirty cab with stained seat covers and a barely working aircon. The driver hardly told us anything meaningful and he made my female partner feel extremely uncomfortable. We could have just ordered a cab ourselves and would have paid a lot less with the same outcome

Our driver Sami picked us up right on time and from the get go was very considerate and friendly. He constantly checked that we were comfortable and was non stop pointing out all the things we drove by, which was so informative! We learnt so much just from being in the car!
The first stop at the Temple was great. Sami walked us through the history of the temple, chatted to us about what piece of art meant what, and spoke in detail about the religious ceremonies and what their purposes were. It was a great conversation considering we knew so little about the religion and culture.
We then drove to the markets and Sami recommended shops based on what we wanted. As per our previous Fiji trip, we loved visiting the locals and participating in a Kava ceremony.
We then went through the fruit markets and Sami spoke to all the locals and we bought some fresh fruit and food.
This was followed by the Orchid garden and the Mud Pool, both which were located near the sleeping giant mountains, with amazing views and friendly staff.
Sami made sure we were comfortable the entire time, aware of what we were going to, and made sure we were back in time for dinner. Could not have asked for a better tour and Sami just made the experience so much better!

If you like small tour group this is perfect! Our driver picked us up and we headed straight to the temple. After that we went shopping. Then we made our way to the gardens. They were beautiful with very pretty orchids. After that we went to the mud pools. We got done with the mud bath right before a huge crowd!

Great little tour of Nadi and inland area! Our favorite part was the mud pots, we laughed and it was gross and awesome all at the same time. Our tour guide, Sami, allowed us as much, or as little time as we wanted at each stop. We learned a lot about Fiji!!

We had a fantastic time exploring Fiji. our tour guild and driver, Avi was extremely knowledgeable about the customs & culture. Avi is hands down the very best guide and made our trip fun and memorable. We highly recommend book with him.

A very different experience being covered in mud and washing it off in “ hot” pools but I’d do it again!

We were lucky enough to have Avi as our tour guide – what a gentleman! Avi was on time to pick us up (even a few minutes early, that’s a rarity in Fiji!) and so our day begun. He gave us a full run down of what to expect for our day and outlined our itinerary. He gave us the option to spend as little or as long at each activity that we were interested in. Avi’s knowledge of local Fijian culture and Hindu religion was extensive, and touring the temple, markets, shops and gardens with Avi as our guide was amazing. The mud pools could only be described as bizarre – lathering yourself with warm mud and then waiting for it to dry, but would have to recommend to anyone! We took up the additional option of a massage at the mud pools and were not disappointed! We left with soft skin, relaxed muscles, and feeling refreshed! Thank you Avi!

The tour guide was awesome, Avir.. friendly knowledge fun. The tour itself could have been longer at some places but it is what it was. Mud pools was fun. Garden was pretty

Great day out fun with family.
Was so much better than we expiected. Our tour guide was amazing shared all his knowledge of the area.

Avi was the best tour guide we have ever encountered on our many tours of the Pacific Islands over the years. The car was immaculate, he was a very safe driver and he explained everything we visited, hosted us as we toured around, introduced us to many locals. We were travelling with our 18-year old twin sons and Avi made a tour a very good experience for all of us.
We were informed about the Hindu temple, we walked through a magnificent orchid garden and climbed the Land of the Sleeping Giant hill to take in a 180 degree view over Nadi and returned to find Avi had made us a fruit juice. We visited the thermal mud pools and we spent time walking through the local markets, ate local fruit, tried and brought Kava, ate the most tasty Indian food and we went souvenir shopping.
Without Avi as our tour guide we would never have understood the Fijian history, customs or felt so welcomed into so many different places.

The temple is amazing, and our guide, Avi, imparted so much information about the temple itself and the Hindu religion. We chose not to participate in the shopping tour. The market tour is informative and the people are so friendly. One vendor gave us a generous sample of kava. The gardens are gorgeous. We are seniors, and the part of the tour we enjoyed the most was the pools. We laughed the whole time. If we’d had time, we’d have gone there again. You’ll love this tour. Hope you get Avi as your guide. He’s the best.

  19. Taelyn_L

Our driver was amazing, the temple was nice. Avoid the markets if you don’t want to be hounded to by something, and the mud pool isn’t the “cleanest” but the experience was cute. 7.3/10
