The bus ride was absolutely great! In order to see the skyline of Miami and Miami Beach and the villas of the superstars, you should definitely take a bus in the city in addition to the bus-guided city tour. For the period at the end of August, the boat trip at 7:30 p.m. is recommended, as this gives you the opportunity to see the houses first when the light is completely bright, then in the twilight state and finally at night in the illuminated state. It was a bit difficult to find the on-site ticket office (at the far left at the end of the harbour), that could be better described or you ask around a lot, but then with enough time before the start. The tour was slightly delayed due to the “boarding” taking a little longer. The boat tour is personally guided, but you have to listen carefully as the guide spoke English words with a heavy Spanish accent. At the end of the tour, in addition to the high basic price, he also asks for 20 US dollars, which you can omit.

However, boot company as arranger forgot to register with the bus hop on/off company. So recommend to skip that here – there is a stand where you can simply buy the bus there at Bay Side for the same price. Additionally, the bus hop on/off 1.5h was a bit boring unless interested in hotel construction history. Miami a new city, less history. Go take a swim at the beach instead 🙂

Incredible views of the city lights at night! Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. My only complaint is that they encourage you to download the app so that you don’t need to print tickets, but then don’t tell you that you still need to go to the ticket window so THEY can print your tickets!
