Getting to see behind the scenes of the MCG was interesting and we enjoyed seeing long room and the MCC members’ seating and wining and dining areas and also getting to going into the team room/s. Our tour guide – Brian, was very knowledgeable and the group sizes were good.

Jack/John was great. A bit of a character. Walked bloody fast.
Only thing missing was something in the gift shop about the MCG. Would have been great to have a key ring or cap, something small.

  6. George_W

The guide John was wonderful and brought the tour to life with his passion and love for the MCG and Stadium

  7. Gretta_C

The size of the Stadium. The remarkable no’s of membership and the amount of people on the waiting list. The knowledge that our guide John (What a lovely man) with Irish roots had about absolutely everything Cricket.

  8. Suzanne_G

The tour was pleasant. Our guide was knowledgeable and courteous. Not being a cricket or rugby player /spectator, I learned a great deal. Overall it was a nice experience.

  9. John_B

The guide who showed us around
He was first class with his knowledge, and very polite ,
A pity we could not go into the long room due to a function

A great way to spend a drizzly Melbourne day wandering the halls of the magical G! Our guide Malcolm, 51 years a member, shared so many insights with his laconic humour shining through!

  15. Patrick_W

  16. Krishan_K

To touch the cricket ground of MCC was most memorable part for me and to see the records of players in their dressing room was much more admired

  17. Lisa_S

  18. Jeremy_S

The whole tour was fantastic the walking out on to the playing surface and the many different places to see on the tour of the MCG that you wouldn’t see if you went to if you were just attending a game!

  19. Chris_M

The MCG is very impressive and steeped in tradition. Adrian was an excellent guide and didn’t mind filling in the details my son and I didn’t know about playing cricket! The grounds are massive and impeccably maintained. Highly recommend. It was a great afternoon activity.

  20. Madalyn_T

The tour guide was incredible. She knew her stuff, was considerate to every individual in the group and was open to answering questions and having discussions. Accessing the tour was simple and the amount of different sections on the ground was more than equivalent of the money you pay for tickets. Definitely recommend
