Great experience! It was just our group. Unique food and very friendly guide. It was extremely hot due to a heat wave and my grandmother was struggling with all the walking, our guide Suzanne was able to adjust and accommodate us as needed. Much appreciated.

The food stops were all good, but the restaurant serving the baked Camembert was awesome. Sadly, we were tight for time as we were on a cruise, so we had to duck out of the last stop which I believe was a North African place for pastry. Inga, our guide, was very understanding and got us ice cream from a nearby cafe instead.
The only issue we had was that we thought the tour included some history of Marseilles, it didn’t. It didn’t detract from the experience.

We loved every stop Inga took us to and meeting the chefs and learning about the regional dishes. We would absolutely book again.

Our guide Suzanna was fun and helpful. She went out of her way to make every guest comfortable and safe. It was nice having a guide who seemed to know everyone in town. We discovered many parts of the city we would have never ventured into without a guide.

Benjamin gave a great tour of the local food scene and allowed us to have a true taste of Marseille.

Charlotte was an amazing tour guide! We loved sampling cheese and eating at the local spots – the whole experience was fantastic! The old harbor is a great location and we would highly recommend signing up for a tour!

Benjamin was an excellent tour guide. We were able to see several parts of Marseille and he gave us some great history along the way. We were given a delicious chocolate croissant upon arrival. We walked through parts of the town then stopped to have some meats and cheeses, along with some wine. We are not wine drinkers but they recommended two wines we enjoyed. The next food stop was a restaurant with a mixed plate. I don’t eat fish and my husband doesn’t eat sardines. He was given raw tuna and octopus and I was given fried polenta which was very good. The plate also had tapenade, hummus, focaccia and tiny radishes. We ended the trip to a cookie and candy store. They had many delicious cookies and candies which made great gifts for the hard to buy for family members. We also received a 10% discount as part of the tour. Benjamin was an excellent guide and his English was perfect. We had no problem understanding anything and learned so much. Benjamin even gave us places to go on our next stop in Barcelona. He also took several pictures of us which was so kind of him. We don’t have many of us so that was so nice. We highly recommend this tour.

Food tours are always a good way to get to know a place. We had a great group of people which is always an added bonus. Benjamin was a charming, enthusiastic, friendly guide. Marseille is a brilliant city and of course most of the food was tasty and the wine recommendations excellent. My particular favourite was the pastis drenched melted camembert.

Overall tour was very good, however, couple of things that should be brought to attention because they’re a little bit misleading. On this tour, we had only one glass of wine two tapas, and the rest of it was either chocolate,,. cookies or cheese. For the price that is charged, it was a little high for what was produced. The guide was very good except it was hard to hear him in Marcelle sometimes. Overall, it was not exactly as advertised. I certainly hope that our next violator booking in Malaga is as written and advertised.

Our guide Benjamin took us to 5 restaurants where we sampled traditional local cuisine. Baked Camembert, tripe (first time and we enjoyed it very much!) and eggplant with roasted tomatoes, tapenade and a chickpea appetizer, cookies at a wonderful confectionery and a Tunisian nut and honey dessert! On the way we learned about Marseille from Ben, a delightful young man whom we enjoyed so much. Great introduction to a wonderful city! Thanks Ben for being our host and for taking such good care of us! Suzanne and Linda, Philadelphia, USA

We met in front of hotel and some ran late as the sign on hotel was on the side of building so this conused four people who eventually found us. Our guide first took usto a cheese shop around the corner. The storekeeper explained variuos cheeses with tastings and a cheese gift. Next stp we backtracked to a wine bar. Here it took so long to get the wine and then some appetizers. The guide and shopkeeper kept talking with eacother and nothing was discussed about the tastings, it was here is your rec, your white, and apps. We then stopped around the corner a block from the meeting point to know have drinks on our own and some provided nibbles. Again you hardly see our guide as she is talking with the shopowner. on our last stop a candy store which provided a cookie taste then buyon your own. I could have done this on my own not needing a guide and no kowledge about the history or the gastronomy. Maybe it was just the guide we had who seemed a bit ditzy

Ben was a great guide and very informative. The tasting were great. Loved the history of the city and the different Mallorcan dishes at each stop.

The food tour was wonderful. Our guide Ines was excellent. We liked all the stops and all of the food at each stop

This was our first time booking an excursion outside of our cruise line, and it ended up being one of our favorites. Ben, our tour guide, was very pleasant and informative. The food stops were great and were places we might not have found on our own if we had just decided to walk the city ourselves. While I think the quantity of food may vary depending on the day and which restaurants are included in the tour (looks like it may change sometimes based on other reviewers’ photos), we felt that we got our money’s worth and enjoyed everything that we ate. The wine pairings were also very good.
Ben gave us some history and facts about the city, explained why he had picked these specific places to eat, and was very accommodating when we had questions, etc. He even offered to text another couple in our group more recommendations for places to eat since they were staying an extra night in the city.

The day we arrived there were protests blocking streets so getting to our destination was difficult. However, once we met with Inga (our tour guide), she quicky put our minds at ease and we set out on our adventure.
We visited four locations:
1) a restaurant that had quite a history where we enjoyed a traditional dish…
2) a newly opened cheese shop that offered us a taste
3) another local taste that included sardines and wine
4) a robust candy store
5) a bakery
We thank Inga for the education and storytelling. She made it a special day!

Delicious and informative! Sofie was a wealth of information and even sent me links of things to do after the tour!

Awesome guide, great experience, went out of her way to explain every detail. Expected less and got a lot more

Such a fun experience! Ines was a wonderful guide, the restaurants and shops we visited were welcoming and accommodating. The order of the tour was well mapped out. The progression from savory to sweet was perfect, and the wine at 2 of the stops was a welcome treat in the summer heat. While I wouldn’t say it was a great way to see much of the city, it was a great tour.
