Our guide Neil was very knowledgeable and we learned many interesting facts about the island and it’s history.
He is definitely a cut above the rest as far as tour guides are concerned and had the weather programmed so that it rained while we were on the bus and dry when we were walking around.
The small number of people on the tour (15?) also added to the enjoyment.
Seeing the butterflies in the bush at the end of the tour was an absolute highlight.

Tour was amazing thanks to the tour operator who went out of his way to pick me up from the jetty because Viator put the wrong information up. Note to anyone booking this tour on Viator there is NO hotel pick up and have to meet tour operator at Townsville or magnetic island wharf
The tour was brilliant the drive around the island was really cool. The highlight for me was feeding the magnetic island rock wallabies by hand and seeing their baby’s. Lunch was also really nice and the views of palm island and Townsville from Maggie island were gorgeous
