Historical background
Appreciated the handicapped accessibility! Jeremy the guide was very good and knowledge
Douglas_A –
Great, unique food helped make this Nulu food tour a great experience! Pork cakes, who knew they were a thing!
Lew_L –
We enjoyed the nice variety of restaurants and locations and the historical context of the tour. Especially appreciated the inclusion of “uncomfortable” history such as indigenous peoples who were removed from land and Louisville’s role in the slave trade.

Be ready to be stuffed! Great food and tour. Good way to see the area. Jeremy was very knowledgeable and funny!

All the different locations and variety of foods.I have been on many food tours and this rates high on my list. Cathy was very knowledgeable about (Louivule) how the locals say it! The portions given at the locations were generous and delicious and the alcohol drinks were a nice touch.

Good tour. Food stops were really delicious. Loved the Royals Chicken and the Feast fried pull pork. Slushies were delicious. The tour needs to. Evstaged better. After first stop, it was an hour walking before hitting next stop. It was 100 degrees and I thought some of folks were going to pass out. Shorter walks and more stops. Tour guide Katy was good with city history. Been on a lot of food tours across world. This one is good but not great.

Cathy was a terrific guide! We learned a lot about Louisville and really enjoyed the tastings! It was a very hot day so the slushies on two of the stops were amazing. We also really enjoyed the biscuits paired with 3 different gravies. And the candy shop near the end of the tour was fantastic!

Cathy did a wonderful job. It was a very interactive to her and she gave us great information. The tour was an easy walk with lots of good brakes.
Casey_J –
Way too much talking. At one point we walked for almost an hour listening to her talk about the different style of homes in Louisville. It was more of a history tour than a food tour. Also for the price of the tickets we should have been given at least one full sized drink. Everything was a small sample size. Definitely not worth the money, we ended up leaving early. The host also would cough directly into the mic (we had to wear ear pieces so we could hear her speaking).
Andrea_V –
We had a wonderful time with Cathy as our tour guide, tasting our way through NuLu and learning about some of the history of Louisville. Loved it!

There were six in our group and we all agreed that this tour was fantastic. Our tour guide Anna was knowledgeable and fun. I would highly recommend this tour.

This was one of the best parts of our trip, loved learning about the city and seeing parts we normally would not have seen. Cathy our guide was also one of the nicest guides we have ever dealt with, she was conscious of everyone and we TRULY enjoyed her!!! Very helpful and kind. The food was good (which is the whole reason we signed up). We even visited one of the restaurants the next day again and then did hit several shops after the tour ended and had several bags of items we found locally, which was fun 🙂 oh and don’t forget the earpiece “that was smart idea”

A group of old girl friends took the food and history tour with Cathy the tour guide. It was a great tour. She was very informative and fun! She made the tour better than it was already. Learning the history of the area and houses was very interesting. The food and drinks was all amazing. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone.
