Description

Litchfield National Park and Jumping Crocodile Cruise AUD 185. One of the Northern Territory’s key attractions is its isolation, but an increasing number of visitors means that the Territory’s most popular attractions are becoming very busy. Cruise the Adelaide River without bumping into lots of other groups on this early-morning tour, with the chance to swim in picturesque rock pools and meet a crocodile without a horde of onlookers spoiling the experience..

Our tour guide was wonderful! She was very knowledgeable about the area and we learnt lots from her. We loved the croc tour and the national park was stunning. We felt that the experience was over priced and you could easily drive to the destinations yourself (bare in mind we paid full price for a four year old). Litchfield is not that far from Darwin. The heavy rain put a dampener on our experience, as we missed some of the water holes. I would recommend this tour for inexperienced explorers and advise to do it during the dry season.

We were picked up at our hotel, then on to the Crocodile cruise, then into Litchfield Park had a swim at Wangi Falls then lunch was provided then the heavens opened up for the rest of the day unfortunately but Lyn carried on to the next Florence falls where some still went for a swim then proceed to the waterholes (still pouring) Lyn did a brillant job driving though the tropical storm which lasted for about 2 hrs. back to hotel about 5.00pm

The crocodile cruise had everything from birdlife to sea snakes and a guest appearance from Brutus the hundred year old monster male croc. Our host was young Dylan who really knew his stuff and made the adventure memorable.
The Litchfield park tour was absolutely fantastic with beautiful waterfalls and swimming holes. Kymbo, our guide kept us well informed and provided us with a delicious lunch. We had a fantastic day on this tour which will be in our memories for many years to come. A++

What a absolutely fantastic experience! One of the best things I’ve ever done in my life! Second only to jumping out of a plane the crocodile tour was that thrilling
Kimbo was an absolute jem and made the experience what it was, a fountain of knowledge whilst also being caring and funny. The man needs a pay rise for sure

Kimbo our tour guide was hilarious and very knowledgeable about Darwin’s history , quirks and the area in general .
Not only did we see some amazing sights and swim in gorgeous waterfalls we got to hear a few funny jokes and he even told us where to find the best croc for dinner haha.

Great interactive tour with heaps of time to enjoy the attractions. Lunch and snacks are basic but more than sufficient for the day. You have a couple of opportunities to buy other items at rest stops along the way

  14. Amanda_H

The croc cruise was amazing and the stops at waterfalls on the way back was great. Plenty of stops to go to the bathroom as you drink so much water while out there. Our tour guide Kimbo is a bloody legend. Not a bad thing to say about this tour.

A fantastic experience, our guide Will was very informative and entertaining. He made the whole day enjoyable. Lunch was also terrific and special mention on behalf of my wife who has Coeliac disease, she was well catered for, we would recommend this trip.

The tour was meticulously managed with confirmation of pickup times, what we needed to bring, and answering any other questions.
We were picked up precisely when mentioned and had a great time on the croc tour and in Litchfield swimming holes.
Our tour guide Will turned the tour itself from good to great with interesting facts, stories, and going above and beyond to make the experience that much more interesting.

  18. Loredana_L

Wow – one of the best tours I’ve ever been on. Will was a fantastic tour guide, he was funny, knowledgeable & knew when we needed a perk up or a break! Air-conditioned bus, amazing swimming holes and close up crocs! Worth every dollar, do yourself a favour and book.

Our guide Will was a wealth of knowledge and humour. The whole day experience was amazing and a day we won’t forget. Something for everyone!

Will our driver was great: very knowledgeable and friendly.
Seeing the crocodiles on the river cruise was a brilliant experience. We were the only group on the river (I think that’s always the case) so it felt very authentic.
The spots we went to in Litchfield were good and we were able to swim in the second.
Giving it 4 stars as I think it’s slightly too expensive.
