The tour was far too long with 3 hours driving in each direction to see rock art and very little else.
The Litchfield tour was far better and I would recommend people do that tour rather than sit for a very long time in a small mini bus.

Kakadu was great but we got there only around 2 pm. What happened earlier was quite a waste of time. We didn’t go on Jumping crocodile cruise (additional option), instead drove back and forwards for 5 min stop to see Fogg dam. Bowali Visitor Centre wasn’t what was expected – we can see pictures and read info online without hassle to drive that far. Understand that its a long drive to see Kakadu, but it could be organise better, let sat Jumping crocodile cruise should be part of itinerary.

This trip needs to be shortened as the bus is old dirty and very uncomfortable. We were last onboard and no designated seats were available.

Great trip with a very knowledgeable guide. Ubirr was the absolute highlight. Travelled with 2 kids 10 and 8 and they loved learning more about the Traditional Custodians and viewing the rock art. Thank you Bianca for giving the kids all the time they needed to ask questions!

Our tour guide Jay was very knowledgeable and a lot of fun to travel with. Kakadu was amazing and the rock art at Ubirr was well worth the climb over the rocks.

  7. Trent_C

It was a great experience that we’d highly recommend and our tour guide Ben was outstanding! The croc jumping was excellent and Ubirr is amazing.

Long day but it was worth going to Kakadu.Only negative was the uncomfortable seats in the mini bus..

You realise on this tour how far from Darwin is from Kakadu and how big Kakadu is. We left very early in the morning (around 7.30 p.m.) and returned to Darwin quite late in the evening (around 8.00 p.m.). The only things we really saw was some amazing rock art and then the 360 degree view of Kakadu from the Nadab Lookout. To get to the top of the lookout you need to climb up a hill comprising of rocks so it does require good balance and a reasonable degree of fitness. If you can’t make it to the lookout you will be very disappointed. I’m glad I did the tour but not sure I’d recommend it.

Great guide and magnificent location but the bus was substandard. Very poor seating for a 10 hour drive. I would recommend another tour company.

  14. NATALIE_C

The jumping crocs were good although we didn’t see many. Driver was knowledgeable but did not help anyone on and off bus. Told us we had a 2 hr walk in the heat, but it was a walk n talk, mostly talk. He didn’t tell us there were plenty of seats along the way. No hygiene practised, many on bus coughing and sneezing and now I’m sick! I wonder why!

  15. Rebecca_R

Ben was amazing ! Very knowledgeable with his commentary and looked after us so well ! Would highly recommend this tour !

Great day enjoying Kakadu with an excellent tour guide. Bec our guide had an incredible knowledge of Kakadu and its people. Her story telling made our tour very special.

Ben, our tour guide was very informative and did his best to help us during the day. We had terrible weather but he made the most of the day for us.

  18. SAMUEL_W

This tour is wonderful. Our guide was great and had a wealth of information on the land, the people, and the area. She made the tour run perfectly. The Kakadu park is breath taking both naturally and with the rock art. Definitely recommend.

Upfront it is a long day. But the trip is broken into excellent chunks that makes the experience worth it. Matteo was an excellent host and was committed to giving us a wonderful experience and is thoroughly knowledgeable about what you see. I would do this trip again in heartbeat.

Great day. Matteo our guide was very knowledgeable and cared about the park. He explained things very well. The short hike to the rock art and the spectacular views of the wetlands were worth the long drive getting there. Was hoping to see a bit more wildlife at Fogg Dam but a minor flaw. So glad we did the tour while in Darwin.
