The day started with south sea island not picking us up from our hotel which was a good half hour away from the marina. We got on a half day tour. You don’t need any longer on this island. The activities were very average and not very exciting. The glass bottom boat.. kids young kids would probably like it. Half a dozen canoes. 2 paddle boards. Didn’t go snorkelling, cos the boat left, packed to the brim, while we were in the glass bottom boat.!! The food was pretty good. If you are going to the islands go to a bigger nicer one. The islands further out will not disappoint. South sea cruises did not offer us any compensation for us not being picked up and missing our day trip. In fact they blamed our hotel staff, saying they were not helpful. This in my opinion is far from the truth.

The island is beautiful, infrastructure is good. Far better than the Tivua island package in my opinion, but I recommend more the Malamala package (foods/drinks not included, but cheaper price and better infrastructure and beach)

Loved the fast way to get to the island, being on the island, the abundance of lunch and drinks. Also enjoyed the show, the cleaned restrooms, and the lounged chairs on the beach. Maybe because of the choppy water on that day, we weren’t able to snorkel as long as desired. However, we certainly had a wonderful day.

we were able to go in the morning after checking out of hotel.
left our main bags at hotel, taking a taxi we were able to get back to hotel after getting slightly earlier boat home (but still plenty of time on island) and make it with ample time for the flight
trip was amazing especially snorkelling and semi-sub (we couldn’t dive as were flying but is a paid option too)
food drink and entertainment included were great. beautiful views and made our trip in fiji complete

The Island was welcoming with lots of free activities for all ages. Just swimming in the water with fish swimming close by was awesome. The semi submersible boat was fantastic, seeing different types of fish, coral and even a ray. The cocktails (not free) so delicious and worth it. Tribal dancing and music was an enjoyment to watch.

The food was trash. This was not a full day. 9am pick up, we left the dock at 10am, made a stop to malamala beach club, than to south sea my destination at 11am. The boat to pick me up and take me back was at 4:15pm this is a scam. Definitely not worth the money. Never again. Go somewhere else. The food was so nasty, not even salt and pepper or some herbs and spices. Bland dog food. Trash.

Amazing experience start to finish, the 25foot catamaran, ample seating to the Island. Great facilities, super friendly staff, common areas. Lunch well catered for. The submersive, massage, diving teachers were great options. Most of all? I enjoyed the snorkelling there is fish in the water and guests don’t know they’re right there! Neons with flashy tails. I loved our South Sea Cruise opportunity

Bad experience. Booked online and price given was 400 odd dollars but they deducted 710 from my bank account. Will not be using it again. Site did not say what currency used so assumed it was Fijian dollars. No explanation or reply given when I emailed them for explanation of why the price difference in what was confirmed and what they took from my bank account

Pick up at hotel is listed at 10:00am. Driver showed up at 8:15am. No call on cell or having the hotel concierge ring our room. Just left without us. We could have been ready to go in 5 minutes had we known. Tour operator refused to refund.

The weather was lovely, the water was clear, the snorkeling was good even just off the island. There was a cultural dance and song show with great photo ops. Most of the folks got down at Maramala beach resort and we weren’t sure if the handful left behind on the boat made a right decision. It was a more laidback and rustic place but we had a fun time as we’re a big family group.

The best day EVER!!!! Everything you could possible need on an island. All equipment supplied, an awesome performance, lunch was delicious and you really felt like home. We will be coming back with our kids at the end of the year. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ❤️
