This was a great tour. Said arrived at my flat early in a 4-wheel drive vehicle. We drove to the desert which took a couple of hours. Said was great company, telling me about his family, the culture in Oman and many other things. We stopped for karak, a kind of chai that is very popular in Oman and some Omani bread, both were a real treat. The tour included some 4 wheeling in the sand, something you should really do with some familiar with the terrain since there are a lot of hazards which you need to know to avoid. A stop at a bedouin home and for lunch at a local house out in the desert were both really authentic touches. A great tour for a couple or a group, Said was a really good guide and just a nice guy. I would recommend.

We had the most amazing time!!! Our guide was incredible and made sure we tried classic Omani foods/drinks like Karak and hubz omani with chips omani. He was so informative and taught us a ton about Omani culture and let us practice our Arabic with him all day! He also made sure we were always well fed and hydrated! We had an amazing time going to Wahiba Sands and riding camels and walking through Wadi Bani Khalid! We both would highly recommend this tour!
