Climbing back&forth 2 waterfalls is 4km. Very beautiful waterfalls. Almost surreal. The trekking to the villages is 17km of climbing up to no man’s land and down separate from the 4km for waterfalls be warned. Not for the weekend trekker. We barely made it but if you can then the views are amazing on a clear day. We really did pass by villages that have not much connection to the outside world and not your usual ones that are set up to sell you things. Dont bother dressing so warm coz u will sweat. Picnic lunch will be prepared by the guide along the way. We had sandwiches it was nice. Guide was good and on time. It was her 2nd trip for this route and she was quite tired too. We took 5 hours for the trek. Not possible to complete in 4 hours

Very nice trekking tour in Sapa. Unfortunately we were not lucky with the weather as it was completely foggy and we had no view of the rice fields. Nevertheless, the tour through the mountains and villages was an absolute experience and highly recommended. But you should at least bring some basic fitness, as it is hilly and at least in January we went through very muddy terrain at times. Our guide May was very friendly. There is something wrong with language communication, but it doesn’t harm the experience in any way.

Personally I highly recommend this tour, the guide asked us which distance we prefer (8 or 10km) explained and showed us a lot of interesting things that allowed us to understand more what we have in front of us.
She was really nice with us and really made this experience fantastic.
