Tivoli Gardens is an amazing, beautiful place of colour, life and excitement. We had a very enjoyable time. Only thing is we had paid for the Unlimited Combo Pass and once we got in it turned out a lot of the activities were not available for us. Some (not just one but a few) major rides were not in use or closed early for some reason. The pass included entry to the aquarium which we were excited for but it was closed the entire day due to a concert. This wasn’t known to us beforehand either. So overall we felt we paid for a full experience but were only able to enjoy a part of it. It was a bit dissapointing but what comes to working staff, facilities, restaurants and the overall atmosphere, Tivoli Gardens is a unique gem definitely worth visiting.

As a solo traveler I thought I would want to get on most of the rides but, the lines were very long. I ended up not getting on any rides (however, most are excellent for children). I did, enjoy the variety of small shops and food hall options. I was able to walk around and enjoy the beautiful lights at night. I definitely recommend for families or for a couple, for solo travel, shopping is a good alternative.

We were glad to have bought the tickets online in advance. The queues at the cash registers were very long. With our tickets we were able to skip the queues and simply scan the tickets at the entrance and we were in Tivoli. I can only recommend buying the tickets in advance.
