Experience the thrill of a 2.5-hour abseiling adventure with stunning views of Glenworth Valley. Receive full training and safety equipment, including helmets, before embarking on a series of beginner’s rocks to develop your confidence. From lengthy rock face descents to open air declines and face forward rundowns, you’ll be up for any challenge by the end of the session.

If you still have the energy, explore 3000 acres of lush green valleys and ancient rainforest trails on horseback. With a choice of 200 horses suitable for all ability levels, enjoy a 2-hour guided ride with one of our friendly guides to assist you. Canter across the unspoilt Australian bush and discover the shady canopy of the rainforest trail. Meander along the banks of Popran Creek, the purest tributary to the Hawkesbury River, and arrive at the natural rock pools.

Both experiences are available at 10am and 2pm on weekdays, and advance bookings are essential. Book at least 2 days in advance of your preferred date as the experience is not available on weekends, NSW school holidays, public holidays, or long weekends. No experience is required, so make the most of your time off and enjoy two fantastic experiences in one unique area.

Getting there:

Glenworth Valley is located approximately 1 hour’s drive north of Sydney and 1 hour’s drive south of Newcastle in New South Wales, Australia.

If you’re driving from Sydney, take the F3 Freeway north towards Newcastle and take the Calga/Peats Ridge exit. Follow the signs to Glenworth Valley. If you’re driving from Newcastle, take the F3 Freeway south towards Sydney and take the Peats Ridge exit. Follow the signs to Glenworth Valley.

If you’re using public transportation, the nearest train station is Gosford, and from there, you can take a taxi or an Uber to Glenworth Valley. Alternatively, there are shuttle bus services that operate between Sydney and Glenworth Valley, which can be booked in advance.
