A great tour to see the highlights of Luang Prabang. Everything that you want to see outside of the city is included. From a river boat tour, to a visit to the caves of Pak Ou, to a tour of the waterfalls (including swimming) – everything is packaged together. Add in lunch with the elephants.
Thin and his team do a great job of getting you to and from everything. The caves of Pak Ou and the waterfall are in two different directions. But you never feel rushed. Plenty of time to do everything. Thin is very knowledgeable and open to taking questions.

A bit touristy. The tour manager was long-winded and we could do with less lecturing. The food was average, no fish was served although this was listed in the tour description. Whisky village and Hmong village were tourist traps.

Great balance of learning, physical activity and relaxing! Loved swimming in the waterfalls with the fishes ( wish I brought my mask/ snorkel!). Thin our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us history on Laos during the ride between stops. Lunch with the elephants so cool. Perfect sunset on tge way back on boat.

It was a great day out and I had a blast doing the waterfalls and the river cruise at sunset was really cool.

What a wonderful day! Started off with a river boat cruise to the caves followed by a delicious lunch with the elephants. Our guide was very insightful and provided great history of the country. After lunch, we stopped by for a whisky tasting that was just okay. The waterfalls were the highlight of the trip. Make sure to bring good walking shoes to do the hike above the waterfall. It’s amazing!

The visited places were ok but the guide (Pong) was useless . He may as well could have been absent . Also, when we arrived at the camp for lunch there was barely any food left .

It was a nice day. We had a nice tour – the boat of Mekong cruise and a modern car. Our guide was perfect and the cave and the waterfal very nice.

Super recommended tour! The day literally flew by… amazing combinations of highlights: waterfalls, elephants, sunset cruise and buffet lunch was great! Also, the guide was very helpful and fun (I think his name was pong)

  9. Luda_K

Waterfalls are must see! Overall it was a great scenic tour with knowledgeable and fun guide Vom. Although it was a full day tour, we had enough time to explore and didn’t feel tired in the end.

Laos is the hidden gem of Southeast Asia. The tour was a wonderful experience and Mr. Pong was an excellent guide. Don’t miss this tour while in Luang Prabang!
    Highly recommended.

Won out tour guide was the best, explained history, made sure we had water and snacks. The tour was excellent, we took a long boat for about 2,5hrs along the Mekong, saw the caves, ate an amazing lunch with elephants, tasted rice whiskey, and then spent time at the most beautiful waterfalls! Highly recommend!

Mr Pong was an incredible guide from start to finish. Excellent english speaking and made the tour informative but also fun.
Lunch was delicious and nice to fet the opportunity to see the elephants. My highlight was the Kuang Si waterfalls. They really are as blue as you see in photos

Well worth the time and effort, well organized. Tour guide Phoung was very helpful and pmeasant all throughout the tour.

Thin was a great guide. It’s a pack filled day so we didn’t get to be at the elephant sanctuary very long due to lunch, but it was still amazing! The river cruise is a bit long for my taste, but can’t please everyone. Went to the caves – don’t wear flip flops as you will need to go up steps. The waterfall is beautiful so bring a swimsuit and maybe some water shoes if you have them since there are rocks in some parts.

Great tour, saw lots of things without feeling rushed anywhere. The waterfalls were incredible. Also enjoyed the cruise and the stops at the local village and the elephant camp. Guide was very good.

Thin was a great guide and very informative and entertaining. The collection from the hotel was punctual and straightforward. The slow boat ride to Pak Ou was so beautiful and we had a great group who had a really nice dynamic. Each stop was given plenty of time without feeling rushed or overly long. The lunch was delicious with the added treat of feeding the elephants. The waterfall was stunning and arrived at a great time as the sun was beginning to set so provided even nicer views. Thin also provided lots of history on Laos as well as recommendations for what else to do and what/where to eat. Would recommend to anyone looking to do the main activities in Luang Prabang.

Worth every Kip or Dollar, depending on where u book (there is a slight difference in the price u pay). We had a super nice guide. We’re also really lucky with the group and the positiv dynamic. Also, we were shown way more than what was promised in the tour description. Can highly recommend. If I had one wish, then that we had a little more time at the sanctuary and less time spend in the local village/store. But other than that, great day!

Buon was the perfect guide , and the tour was very complete .
We skipped the Wisky village :seemed too commercial
Going back from the Boudha cave to LP on the Mekong was really superb

You can see it all in 1 day. Each stop fantastic and well worth the time providing a unique experience…the caves, waterfalls, feeding the 🐘 elephants, rice wine delightful…I bought a 6 pack. Our Guide Thin was very knowledgeable…thank you!

This tour was amazing? Pick up was a little tricky because I was staying at a guest house, but once we got going everything went smoothly. We had plenty of time at the local village, waterfall, lunch, caves, whisky village, etc. to see everything and really soak it all in, and were still dropped off on time. The tour guide was wonderful and we had a really great group that day too.
