Our journey begins in Heraklion, the capital of Crete, and home to the island’s most famous attraction, the Palace of Knossos. As we explore the palace ruins, we are transported back in time to a world of kings and queens, labyrinthine corridors, and colorful frescoes.

Next, we head to Chania, a picturesque coastal town that blends Venetian and Ottoman architecture with traditional Cretan charm. The Old Town of Chania is a maze of narrow streets and alleyways, lined with tavernas, cafes, and shops selling local crafts and souvenirs. The Venetian Harbor is the perfect place to relax and soak up the Mediterranean sun, while watching the boats bobbing in the turquoise waters.

One of Crete’s most stunning natural wonders is the Samaria Gorge, a 16-kilometer-long canyon that stretches from the White Mountains to the Libyan Sea.
