Hello and welcome to my travel blog! Today, I’m going to take you on a journey through Zimbabwe, a country known for its breathtaking landscapes, wildlife, and vibrant culture. I recently had the pleasure of spending 14 days exploring this fascinating country and wanted to share my experience with you.

Day 1-2: Harare
I started my trip in the capital city of Harare, which is located in the northern part of the country. The city is a bustling metropolis with plenty to see and do. I visited the National Gallery of Zimbabwe, which houses an impressive collection of contemporary African art. The Great Zimbabwe Ruins Masvingo

The Great Zimbabwe Ruins are a complex of stone structures located in modern-day Zimbabwe, southern Africa. These structures are believed to have been built between the 11th and 15th centuries by the Shona people, who were the dominant ethnic group in the region at that time. The ruins are significant as they provide evidence of the sophisticated architectural skills and cultural achievements of the Shona people.

The Great Zimbabwe Ruins consist of three main areas: the Hill Complex, the Valley Complex, and the Great Enclosure. The Hill Complex is the oldest and largest of the three, and is situated on a hilltop overlooking the other two complexes. Victoria Falls One Of The Worlds Most Spectacular Waterfalls

Victoria Falls, one of the world’s most spectacular waterfalls, is a must-see destination for anyone visiting Southern Africa. Located on the Zambezi River, on the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe, Victoria Falls is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a natural wonder of the world.

When visiting Victoria Falls, there are plenty of things to see and do. Here are just a few suggestions:

Visit the Falls: Of course, the main attraction is the waterfall itself. The Falls are about 1.7 kilometers wide, with a height of over 100 meters. The best time to see the Falls is during the rainy season from November to March when the water flow is at its highest. The view is absolutely breathtaking and you can feel the mist of the waterfall on your face.
