The heli tour to the tasman glacier does not include a Mt. COOK sightseeing flight but only a return flight to the tasman glacier, which is a good 1,000 meters below MontCool. The description in the getYourGuide app is somewhat misleading, the glacier hike in the area was very nice, but instead of 1 p.m. departure was only at 2 p.m. and was only 2.5 hours short, please change the description! … otherwise in beautiful weather fantastic trip into the ice world of the 22 km long Tasman glacier, sometimes also visits to small ice caves .. overall good guides and varied contrast program to normal flight very recommendable!

The heli hike was fantastic. However, the organizers had no information from Getyourguide about the booking. Since I did not receive any feedback from the organizer, I asked 2 days later and after a long time after which the organizer had to inquire at Getyourguide, I received the message that only times 9.00 and 11.00 were still available, even though I had the Getyourguide Had received 13:00 as confirmed. On the day of the action, the appointment was canceled at 9 a.m. and the 11 a.m. appointment came very late because the cloud cover for the helicopter flight had only dissolved around 11:30 a.m. The Helihike was fantastic !!!

This experience was amazing, such a special way to see and learn about the spectacular landscape. Our guide, Scott, was very knowledgeable of the glacier and the surrounding geology, and Mark at the base and Mike our pilot were so friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend doing this heli hike, such a unique experience
