We did several samurai and ninja experiences while we were here on Kyoto and this was our favorite! It was my husband and I and our 4 children, 3 boys (13, 11, and 8) and 15 ye daughter. We learned so much and really found that all excelled at different things! And they took photos for us!

Simply WOW! What a fantastic experience. So much fun from beginning to end. The instructor was so friendly and super professional in their approach. A good mixture of fun and laughter and of course ninja training. 🥷
We received an email afterwards with loads of photos taken by the ninja assistant free of charge. They were a wonderful surprise and great shots!

The instructor was very patient and encouraging. He explained the life of a Ninja in verbiage that my young children understood. He had attire that miraculously fit all of my family members of various heights and weights.

I strongly recommend this activity to anyone. We had 2 adults and 2 young kids and it was one of the highlights of our Japan trip. Learn real techniques, use real weapons and even dress up like a ninja. Give it a try!

We had such an incredible experience with Tomoe yesterday. We should have done the 2 hour class instead of the 1 hour class. Tomoe was a great teacher and knows so much about the history of Ninja. She was fun and professional and very very highly recommend taking this class!
Jarrad_W –

Just a blast, even tho I wouldn’t make a good ninja. So much fun learning some useful skills and doing it in a group environment with other travelers
Melissa_C –
Ninja lessons were the highlight of our trip- we both learned about ninja history and got to practice a few moves. It was only an hour, but this was the perfect amount of time to try using a number of different ninja weapons and stealth techniques. My husband’s favorite were the ninja stars, while mine was the blow dart. Thank you for a very fun hour! it would be a great activity to try with kids (or just the young-at-heart).!
Craig_P –
We had the best time! Everyone was so great to deal with and answered questions and very kind! Very fun and informative! Great time!
NOAH_S –
Great class. The teacher was fantastic and my 5 year old loved it. The other attendees were adults and they had a great time. You dress up as a ninja and learn some basic ninja skills, including using a sword, using throwing stars, and shooting at targets with a blow gun. We had a great time.
B_W –
What fun! We threw ninja stars, used blow darts, learned ninja meditation techniques, used swords, and practiced sneaky ninja moves and escapes through hidden doors. The instructor was patient, friendly, and had some serious ninja skills!
