This excursion was one for the books. We absolutely loved spending the day with our tour guide Benson. He taught us so much about the places we visited, and he made great company. The hot springs were stunning, calm, and refreshing. We even got a mini photoshoot in the water! Keep in mind that you should have cash with you in case you are not a strong swimmer and may want to use one of their floaties. The hike to the waterfall was also lovely. We learned about the common plants that are grown and harvested in the area. After spending some time by the waterfall, we hiked back to the Chagga village where we had a delicious traditional meal, followed by a demonstration and tasting of fresh coffee.
Overall, we would highly recommend this experience for anyone who may be interested. Definitely would do it all over again!
