This was our last trip for a 3 week holiday in Scotland. Our guide was a bit too chatty about personal things and not quite enough about the sites and things we saw.
There was a young man in the seat in front of me who was consistently coughing throughout this trip…no covering his mouth when doing so. In the post COVID world, he should have been told to do so by the guide. I feel sorry for the 2 elderly couples in front of him. Hope they aren’t sick

We had a fabulous trip to the north of Inverness and almost to one end of the earth! Our guide Malcolm was excellent, shared several insights about the history, culture, the flora and the fauna throughout our journey. His attention to make each one of us comfortable on the journey is noteworthy. The beautiful sights and the overall experience on this trip have 3xcited us to plan for further trips to the 8spands far north and west, perhaps next summer!

Gillian was a great and informational tour guide, and the drive through the Highlands was quite lovely.

Really enjoyed the tour. We stopped at a local seafood shack on the way back and I bought some fresh lobster and crab – absolutely delicious. Dunrobin Castle was one of the highlights of the trip so far. But most important…. don’t be late!! We arrived 2 minutes prior to departure time and barely made it. 8:15am was listed as the start, and usually that’s a flexible time. This is not flexible!

The scenery was beautiful. However, we only spent 15 mins at John O Groats, and tons of time at other locations. The tour guide was kind, but unable to speak to history or stories of the area outside of his personal life, and these stories were excessive. I’d do another tour.

This is a beautiful area and worth seeing. Our guide, Marita, knew the area very well and had many interesting stories to tell.

Seeing the Stacks was incredible. I did feel that there were too many unnecessary. We drove by where the last witch was killed.

We didn’t see half of the stops mentioned as highlights of this tour. We stopped in Golspie at an ATM not a gallery. The Dunrobin Castle was so rushed that we couldn’t even see the falconry display and had to book another tour $$$ and a whole lost day to see that- again and pay the entrance fee- again. Didn’t see anything in terms of heretige center or museums… what we did get is the guides’s own personal interest in ornithology ad nauseum with incoherent and nonsensical comments that stoped and started with lengthy tangents about person life.
And to top it all off- we spent so much time bird spotting that our lunch option as at the local Tesco ( like a super Walmart) to have nasty microwaved inedible lunch.
If it was not for the amazing views of the cliffs of John O’Groats , it would have been a complete wash out… total waste of an entire day that had to be partially repeated at an even greater personal expense and loss of an additional day to see what we were originally promised.

Malcom was an excellent guide. He provided great information and humor the entire trip. Dunrobin castle and the falconry show were great. Malcom made sure we had food for the trip, since we were a bit early in the season for some local food stops to be open. John O’Groats was nice, but we felt the Stacks were much more interesting. Loved seeing all of the nesting birds and early Puffins! We also saw cairns and a brach (sp?). Amazing ancient stone structures! Great tour, would love to travel with Malcom again!

Dunrobin Castle is magnificent. The highlands are beautiful. The coast was amazing to see. Our driver, Marita, searched out places for us to see seals, puffins and baby highland calves (“hairy coos”).

Every turn was a new experience and the narrative about the history of the lands and specific places was fascinating. Malcolm our driver was wonderful and very humorous!
We would recommend this to all.

The scenery and Dunrobin Castle. The weather was rubbish but turned out beautiful later in the day. I got to go places that i otherwise can’t get to being unable to drive

My 2 sisters and 1 brother and I were fortunate to have booked this tour. It was a cold but clear day, no rain to speak of, which made it great. Our Guide, Malcolm, was not only knowledgeable about the history of Scotland, but he also answered the questions asked by the passengers with patience and confidence. I really enjoyed the castle and of course the very windy and cold stop at John O Groats.

Our tour guide Luke made this a personal experience. He had great history, folk lore and music to share.

Andy S our driver and tour guide provided a fantastic, informative and entertaining trip. We really enjoyed the Falconry and Hawk display at Dunrobin Castle.

Seeing the seals and seabirds nesting were the highlight. Kathleen was an excellent driver and Sinclair gave a commentary throughout the trip. The sun shone which made the day.

Our tour guide was very friendly and had a lot of extra neat tidbits of information to offer along our ride. He played traditional Scottish music and we didn’t have to worry about driving ourselves! Would recommend this to others. Good value for the benefit.

Great scenery and locations to visit. Lunch eaten on the bus. Commentary seemed a bit repetative or light on details

This tour was fantastic! The tour guide, Malcom chose the best stops, shared lots of history of the country and kept the safety and well-being of the group in mind the entire time. We got some great photos and enjoyed the day. Bring some drinks, snacks, and cash along with you!
