My sister & I joined Viator’s Cultural, Art & History tour on Tues. morning. What a delightful morning we had. As a born & bred Perthite I was totally absorbed by all the historical facts of our city that we had missed and the hidden Bars & laneways full of street art. Alex our guide was an enthusiastic entertainer as she guided us around the city of Perth giving us a tourist’s insight to our beautiful city. Thanks Alex.

Lovely being shown around Perth by a local and seeing things we’d have never otherwise seen or learnt about. 5 Stars!

Seeing and hearing stories about the historical buildings was great and loved the street art. Alex was a great guide and obviously enthusiastic about showing the city off

Took the walking tour on my second day in Perth, which was a really good choice. Our guide Alex was amazing and enthousiastic, and she had so many interesting or funny stories to tell about the history, architecture and art all around the city! After the tour I was able to properly find my way through Perth and enjoy it even more. A definitive must when you visit Perth

Our guide Pete was fantastic, he clearly enjoys telling people about Perth and showing them some of more unusual and quirky sites around town. We highly recommend this tour.

Enjoyed a beautiful morning walking around Perth city with our very knowledgeable guide. Explored some of the laneway art scattered around the city, got a hot tip on where to buy the best coffee and learnt some cultural narratives about the land and the people who once inhabited it. This would be both a great intro or a wind down to your Perth trip.

Good morning walking around Perth, learning about the history of the city. The art in the lane ways, places recommended to visit. Kirsty was a great tour guide. Seemed to spend too long waiting for people to get coffee

We were taken by the Yeager building. Our guide Pete brought the aboriginal and this element of colonial history to life. The whole trip was a learning experience or the quirky and the profound. Thank you Pete!

Great stories from Alex. She infused the stories with so much assign and excitement! Have such details, threw my plans aside and spent the next two days retracing the walk to further appreciate.

Great tour on Tuesday – lots of small interesting stories on the monuments, art pieces and history of the city. Our guide was really helpful in giving everyone suggestions for the rest of their stay in Perth.

Great tour with guide Kirsty. She had a great knowledge of the area. We learned a lot about Perth and this tour helped us find our bearings in the city. I did not need to use google maps anymore on my holiday.
We asked Kirsty for restaurant recommendations and both places we went to were amazing. She really knows her stuff 😊

Alex was our tour guide and she was fabulous. We met by the “giant cactus” and had a wonderful 3 hours in her company. The group was small with just 4 guests but for us, it was perfect. Alex has so much knowledge and she knew where to take us to see so many sights we would never have found on our own. She was enthusiastic and had planned the route perfectly. Thank you Alex for a most enjoyable and informative morning.

Alex was a great guide & very enthusiastic about Perth. There’s enough quirky stories & sights to fill an enjoyable 3 hours

It is a great start of my visit to Perth. Getting to know a little bit of history about Perth and how it is being developed and learning about the city from a locals perspective. Robyn (my guide) was very friendly and helpful.

Our guide left out one of the most important statues of one the founding figures of the Swan River Colony, Captain James Stirling RN. When asked where his statue had gone? She replied ‘They probably cut it down and threw it away’. Just around the corner on Hay Street another tour guide from another company was showing and explaining the statue of Captain Stirling. When our tour guide saw that she quickly led our group away from the statue.
I was disappointed that our guide chose to ‘air brush out’ significant historical facts that didn’t fit her social and political beliefs.
She was also condescending and belittled the guests on our tour.
I can only say that I look forward to going on the other Perth walking tour.
