Krka is a place I’ve wanted to go for years and I finally got there. Stunning area of beauty, loved it.
We were met in central Split and walked to the coach to take us on our adventure to the Waterfalls. Journey took just over an hour through the countryside. The guide was informative and knowledgeable.
Once there we were given our ticket and boarded a boat to take us along the lake. After that we mostly were able to do our own thing with pointers from the guide and an arranged time to meet her at a certain location. Fabulous national park with outstanding waterfalls, well worth a visit.
Once back on coach we headed to a stop at Primosten which is a sleepy coastal town for a drink and bite to eat. You could also go on the pebbly beach and have a swim if you wanted. Lots of touristy shops too. At the end of the trip we were dropped off centrally in Split.

Even though we arrived at Krka in the most torrential rain I’ve ever seen we had a fantastic day! The weather fortunately cleared up and Gabby’s tour of the National park was super interesting and informative. She was a fantastic guide and was willing to answer any questions you had. We also really enjoyed the trip to Primosten where we had a nice wander around the town and a dip in the sea. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to visit Krka but cannot drive there themselves. Thanks again Gabby and our bus driver Mr Sunday!

This is a big tour but it ran extremely efficiently and Gabby our tour guide was amazing. She’s a history teacher and likes hiking so she knows a lot about the region. She pointed out different historical sites from our tour bus. Mr. Sunday our driver also was very good! The tour schedule works perfectly and allows enough time in both locations. I was a bit nervous about having to buy the tickets at Krka but Gabby took charge and bought them all – just remember to bring cash!
