Our Daintree Forest Tour was a wonderful experience. the tour was extremely well designed to give the visitor a strong and lasting sense of this extraordinary place of ancient forest and tranquil, remote waterways. Notwithstanding the large number of visitors to this world heritage site, the tour enabled us to be in quiet spaces for many wonderful hours, and to have a unique experience of the majesty, complexity and diversity of this remarkable place. Well never forget the feeling of being amid ancient places, relatively untouched by modern life. It is a testament to the devoted people who manage to keep it that way for us, and for future generations.
And we cannot speak highly enough of Ben, our guide. He was charming, extremely capable, and left no stone unturned when it came to our comfort. (For morning tea at Cape Tribulation he had gone to the trouble of providing plunger coffee, instead of instant!) It’s only a small thing, but is emblematic of his attention to every detail.

Our guide, Ben, was extremely knowledgeable about the native wildlife and agricultural activities nearby, as well as the history of the rainforest and human development. The tour had the perfect balance of immersion into wildlife with short walks on the beach and in the rainforest with a nice ACd van to return to.

We had a fantastic day with our guide Ben. The whole day ran completely seamlessly between the different activities and delicious food in between. Ben was really friendly, engaging and welcoming ensuring that all of us in the group felt comfortable. Additionally, he was like a walking encyclopaedia with his interesting knowledge about the area bringing the Daintree to life. Honestly could not recommend this tour or Ben more highly!! A huge thanks to Ben and the team!!
