What to expect
Your day begins in Rome, then you’ll travel south on the Autostrada del Sole through scenic countryside, including the Castelli Romani,
and across the Vesuvius valley to reach Pompeii.
Once you arrive, you’ll explore Pompeii independently at your own pace. (Important: entry ticket is not included and is purchased separately.)
Afterward, you’ll head to Ercolano to board an open-top bus that takes you up Mount Vesuvius to around 1,000 metres.
From there, enjoy the mesmerising panorama before returning to Rome.
