This historic family-run company produces some of Spain’s most famous drinks, including Tio Pepe sherry – with the iconic guitar-holding sombreroed bottle logo – and Soberano brandy. You’ll learn about the varieties – fino, amontillado, manzanilla and oloroso – and history of the bodega.
After an introductory video, you’ll explore the bodegas, riding on a mini-train between the production areas and strolling through lanes shaded by vine pergolas. You’ll also see the vast vaults in which the wines are aged in oak barrels – keep an eye for those autographed by celebs and the legendary ‘mouse’s glass’, which is kept for a regular four-legged visitor. The icing on the cake is the tasting at the end of the tour.
