We took the ferry across to Rottnest for the first time yesterday since being in Australia, the island didn’t disappoint. The ferry was easy and no hassle at all. I would like to mention a lady called Jess, I didn’t have much contact with her personally myself however I did see her with lots of families with children and she was great, her customer service skills were incredible, I haven’t ever actually seen anybody love their job as much as she did. She was super friendly with everybody and was just an asset to the boat. Both my partner and I noticed her and commented about how there aren’t many people like her in that job in the UK. She really is a great member to have on your team! Really happy, and we are looking forward to our next trip!!

The ferry to and from Rottnest was very enjoyable, and the staff were friendly and really helpful. However, I did not receive contact confirming my initial pick up point and needed to arrange my return pick up after arriving at the ferry. I am glad they took my feedback on the spot, and again commend the staff professionalism.

Booking didn’t offer boarding at Freemantle. Meant we had to travel further and get up earlier to get our ferry.
Staff on board and boarding both ways very helpful. However again booking didn’t indicate change of ferry for return.
On the island we felt it was beautiful but signposting was poor. Difficult to know which way to go.
Fabulous place museum excellent.
Sadly realised I had left a bag at one of the bays but by the time we had worked out where to go couldn’t risk rushing across the island before the ferry was due. And as we leave WA next day it is lost.
