Overview
Muiderslot (often called Amsterdam Castle) is a national-museum castle whose origins trace to the late 13th century under Count Floris V, later renewed and restored in the 14th–19th centuries. Today it combines furnished rooms, ramparts and themed routes with riverside gardens and seasonal programming.

- Getting there (public transport): Train to Weesp → bus 110 to Muiden Centrum (≈10-minute walk to the castle). From Amsterdam Amstel: buses 320/322/327 to P+R Muiden, then walk (~30 min) or connect to bus 110.
