Easy pickups… drivers very passionate about what they showing us.
    well worth the costs

  2. Beth_M

They were very pushy trying to sell additional items and didn’t explain the stops very well. Drivers almost forced you to get off on some stops, presumably those that pay them to even have a stop there…i.e. the chocolate place.

  3. Cleona_G

Loved the Blue mountains but was not able to do all the stops and lots of walking. Seemed long to wait between buses.

  4. Frank S

Perfect way to see Katomba with very friendly and informative tour drivers.

Unfortunately weather was not best for touring, however this tour is worth every cent. You certainly need the three days to see all the sights. Buses were punctual and drivers provided a wealth of information. Must visit Scenic World and make use of unlimited rides option.
Blue Mountains are certainly on my bucket list to visit again…….soon!

The bus is very convenient, and the driver are are friendly– the first took a slight detour past our hotel to drop us off, which was very handy. There is a lot to see though and the hikes take time, we only took the bus a few times over the two days because most time is spent hiking. The buses stop relatively early so the first evening we had to rush back though there was plenty of light. During the peak season right around new years the buses run later to catch stragglers, but the timetables even the adjusted ones they provided during this time don’t show this. Still all in all it was worthwhile just so we wouldn’t worry about having to call a taxi and the possibility of poor cell reception.

    Hello Everyone,
The Hop-on and Hop-off Bus is a very smart way to save money and time to see all of God’s creativity of the Blue Mountains.
We’re able to see most of the stops with a three day pass this is best deal for your money and you’ll never be able to see all in one day. Our tour manager was polite and helpful with information to enjoy park the best. Scenic World was our highlight of the trip with many thrill rides with enjoyable screams I would say…

We were hesitant at first to book a hop-on hop-off tour like this, but this was the best possible decision we could have made as we felt that this allowed us to see everything we wanted to see in a limited about of time we took the first bus going out and came back on the last bus. All three of the drivers who were working that day were very personable and gave great recommendations. The first driver I think his name was Jimmy spoke an impressive amount of languages and greeted ALL of the guests in their native tongue, Damien who we had the most during the day recommended that we not only stop at the Leura Cascades but not to rush it like we originally planned, but rather spend some time hiking further down, which we allowed us to see Bridal Veil Falls which was one of the most impressive water falls I’ve seen thanks to some rainy days leading up to our visit. When we were taking the train into town from Sydney we were very disheartened by the rainy and foggy weather, but we were really and it cleared up for us right when we got to the Three Sisters lookout and again when we made our second stop at Scenic World. My advice is if you have the time to take advantage of the unlimited rides at Scenic World and try to do the tram ride when the weather is nicer because it made a huge difference for us!

Great way to see the Blue Mountains at an affordable price. Plenty of stops to choose from. It does include all of the highlights and popular areas.

    The drivers were too helping

too long a rail trip to get to the hop on hop off tour it was not made clear

  12. Joseph_G

This was a great investment. Besides access to most of the sights, trails, and attractions, the drivers are first rate. I was on the last bus of the day. After the last stop the driver offered to drop off anyone at their motel/hotel. I thought this went above and beyond and my tired feet were so grateful!

Very efficient and convenient way to get around Katoomba and the various activities (which are quite spread apart).
    Worked well for us.

The HOHO Tour is a great way to see the Blue Mountains at your own pace, spending time where you want instead of where a structured tour decides. Another plus was the savings. Transportation from Sydney was no problem, as we took the Blue Mountain Line Train public transit from Central Station that took us directly to Katoomba Station. We enjoyed the 2 hour train ride and the cost was less than 6 p/p one-way. The HOHO office was conveniently located very close to Katoomba Station and easy to find. Definitely recommend.

We spent our last day in Sydney at the Blue Mountains. The HOHO off bus was the PERFECT choice! So easy to take the train to Katoomba and the HOHO office is RIGHT there. We got our tickets and maps – and off we went! The driver – Jimmy was UNBELIEVABLE! He welcomed every guest in their native language and gave valuable advice to everyone to ensure we made the most of our time in the Mountains. He helped customize our itinerary so we didn’t miss anything and could avoid the crowds! Then our next driver was Damian who was equally impressive. They were eager to answer questions and help in any way they could. At the end of the day Jimmy even dropped us off at the train station to make sure we didn’t miss the train back to Sydney! Using the HOHO bus was the best decision!! What a perfect day!!!

Blue Mountains Explorer Hop on Hop off Bus is a great way to explore Blue Mountains specially for first time travelers to this Region. Bus driver & tour guide Jimmy was particularly exceptional greeting all tourists in their local language and sharing all the information in a friendly way. There are number of great spots where one can hop off the Bus and again Hop on to continue the tour. Only wish this tour had an option of one day pass also as one needs to buy a 3 day pass by default.

It was good was disappointed that I could buy for less directly from vendor. 10usd less which they were selling for 55AUD

  18. Kendy_J

Paid $200 for a 5 minute bus trip which I could have done for free. All ads state kids are free paid full adult fare for my 2 children. My booking didn’t go through properly. Absolutely disgusting theft of money

Informative and funny drivers made this trip all the more enjoyable. HOHO took all of the stress out of visiting the area. The office is right next to the train station and the first pick-up location is less than 100m away from the office. Well-marked bus stops made for a seamless process.
