The trip was enjoyable with a few downsides.
The good…the reef! The flight back was stellar, gorgeous views.
The downside..taking away so much of the experience..the trip itself was rescheduled 3x times and to top it off the helicopter flight was pulled forward leaving way earlier.
So ended up paying $1500+ for approx 1 hour and 45min on the reef to : get ourselves settled, hoisted into gear, snorkel the reef, get out off the water and change ..as one has to go dry into the helicopter& lunch. The semi-submersible was out of action, there wasn’t enough time for the glass bottom boat and had to scoff lunch down due (lunch itself was really nice however) all very rushed and time pressured.
The overall intend was fab, the scheduling and time issues abysmal. For an average experience all up unfortunately. Would recommend the experience gladly if they get their scheduling issues under control and sorted.
