The attractions in Kyoto are overwhelmingly busy. Even with the organized public transportation system, navigating the city to see all the sites and fighting crowds can be exhausting. This tour was great because you are on a beautiful bus with a knowledgeable guide and the guesswork of where to go in a maze of people is lessened.
The buffet lunch had a variety of dishes to accommodate different palates and Yoshi, our guide, was attentive and hard working. It was a long, enjoyable day.

Harry was great and our bus driver was very skilled too. We lucked out with a trip mates who were all being very punctual and great about getting back on the bus. We opted for the lunch and we both enjoed it … one of us is meat eater and others a vegetarian and everything was delicious. It’s a long day but well worth it to see so much and no stress trying to catch buses or subways! Again, thank you Harry and your Team… Came all the way from Tampa Florida 🙂

One of the best tours we have been on made even better by Mo who was full of insights into Japanese culture and history and who expertly led our large group tour. Sure if you want to spend hours at each sight this isn’t the tour for you. But if short on time being whisked by coach to the 4 corners of Kyoto means you can see the main sights and have plenty of time for photos and a great lunch.

It was great to see the temples –
Both guides were just great –
But I felt rushed between sites – and the communication between sites was not great but got better after we got lost of where to find the bus on return –
There were a lot of tourists and school kids at evert site –
I don’t every travel like this but I had a short stay in Kyoto and wanted to see the jet temples etc so it was good for that – so if you have limited time yes do it but just remember to find out where to find the bus after each site after your finished –

Great to see Temples and pine trail. However, Tour was so rushed. Barely 20 mins in each place. No free time to explore. Would have been better with two less Temples and more time in each. Also, it wasn’t explained how much walking there was during the day. Found it hard to keep up and I had to miss 2 Temples as I couldn’t climb the steep steps. Garden were beautiful though. None of this was mentioned in the advert for the tour. Harry was a good guide

Really very organized great tour including visits of all places that you need car to reach. Lovely and very sympathetic guides May and Epay!! Many thanks for this great time!

Tthe one day bus tour of Kyoto was an efficient way to see many of the city highlights. We were especially impressed by the excellent selection of delicious food at the lunch. Our guide was enthusiastic and helpful. I’m sure his English will improve as he does more tours. We would recommend this worthwhile tour to others.
Monika_C –
The guide was in a hurry. Hardly explained anything and was always in a rush to be back on the bus. Take this tour with some other company!

Epay and the gentleman assisting him were fun, knowledgeable and funny. I love All 5 locations we stopped at! I met other people on the tour and we swapped taking photos. My favorite was the Torei Gates. Thank you.
Francisca_E –
Our tour guide was very nice and entertaining but was hard to understand him and didn’t get much context for each destinations due to the automated teleprompt. The good thing is that you do get to see a lot in one day just don’t expect to spend a lot of time at each destination.
Felipe_L –
Great fast -paced tour jammed with lots to see! Not for slow pokes or the faint of heart. Our guide Epay kept us on schedule with the exception of wandering tour members who don’t keep track of time. Perfect tour for us. Highly recommend!
LinaMaria_L –
Our guide Epay was great, 5 stars for him.
Lunch was terrible, nothing like the picture posted by the operator. Lunch does not even deserve 1 star
Kyle_G –
Great way to hit a bunch of landmarks in one day. Ebae and the tour guides were amazing with keeping everyone organized and on time. Really impressive!
Richard_B –
The sheer visual impact and the astonishing history and culture was amazing. Our tour guide “Myagi” was knowledgeable, friendly, interesting and approachable.
Pamela_T –
Harry was an exceptional guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about each site, answered everyone’s questions, was very caring when my mother had to walk slow due to hip pain, and a lot of fun! Every element was perfectly organized. It was the best run and most fun tour I have ever been on. We got to take such beautiful pictures and I’m sorry the system isn’t allowing me to upload them. Further after we got off the tour and struggled to find a taxi, Harry saw us, ran to help us and made sure we were well taken care of and taken straight to our hotel. So not only is an exceptional tour manager, he is an amazing human man who goes above and beyond to take care of people. It was an wonderful experience from beginning to end. Pamela

It’s always good to get a guide so that you understand the place more. Also you can get better insights of the locations and it helps when you decided whether to go back for more
Hamid_R –
Harry, our tour guide and his partner were excellent and we had a great time. They allocate time on a busy schedule but perfect for a daily sample if Kyoto.
veronica_s –
Harry was amazing and took us to the best places. It was crowded but we managed to get good photos. He is very knowledgeable and very kind.
Carol_S –
Harry, our guide was fantastic. We learned so much from him about Japan. He had a wonderful handout that was one of the few items I brought back from Japan. On the bus he showed us additional pictures of festivals, and places that we passed. His organization skills and detail to the itinerary made the trip easy. He accommodated all our requests in a very pleasant manner.
Sumitha_P –
This was a well spaced out tour with the right places to see in Kyoto. Yoshi was very knowledgeable tour guide along with Atusko and Heid who were other assistant tour guides.
