Our driver was the best! I think his name was Giovanni (sp?). Pointed out what to see and do. Very relaxing trip with just my husband and I. Did not feel rushed at all and saw everything we needed to. Car was very comfortable!

Unfortunately, we did not have a positive experience. The hefty $380 price for two would lead most people to believe that this would be a higher end tour; however, the driver (albeit nice) only quietly drove us from one spot to the next and asked us to meet him back in an hour or so at each location. I learned nothing about the towns and still am in shock about the pricetag. Definitely my most disappointing Viator experience yet.

We had a wonderful time being driven to some of the beautiful sights and historical places of interest in Sicily. The duomo in Monreale is a masterpiece, representing the merging of diverse cultures; the story of the Castello di Castelbuono and the significance both it and the relics of Saint Anna have today are evident in the pride of its inhabitants; and finally the bastion at Cefalu provides a stunning view of the coast. Giovanni was a great guide through all of these and provided us with interesting and relevant information during the day. Recommend this tour to see some highlights in comfort and style!

Marco was excellant driver and gave us wonderful info. They are not your guides so they don’t go with you but this allows you to see and view at your own pace. We got caught in a downpour and he was right there to help us out. Wonderful day away from big cities. Highly reccomend.

We chose this trip to visit the three outlying towns from Palermo. The first Monreale was brilliantly situated for an amazing view of Palermo city from above. And only a short drive away. The cathedral is just beautiful. We had time for a quick look around and a coffee and croissant. Secondly we visited Castlebuono. A beautiful medieval town within castle walls. This is the furthest from Palermo about 90 mins. Although a short visit, it was enough to visit the castle and its beautiful chapel. Finally a visit to Cefalu with its expansive beach. We took time out for a delicious lunch. There are many restaurants to choose from including beach front or sea terrace. After a stroll around the narrow streets we were delivered safely back to our accommodation in Palermo. Dario our driver was very experienced and dealt with the narrow streets very well. A very enjoyable day.

– the timing at Cefalu overlapped when all shops are shut during the afternoon. Consider changing the timing sequence of the three towns on the tour to adjust for this.

Very disappointed! This is not a TOUR it is an expensive taxi ride in a nice car. Additionally we were not informed prior to leaving on the tour and only told after visiting Monreal that Castelbuono was closed and not available. Also upon our return to our B&B upon receiving his tip, which obviously the driver thought was not enough, the driver made a rather rude comment. Just be forewarned that the word TOUR is misleading, it’s a taxi ride.

We had a wonderful time with Dario traveling to Monreale and Cefalu. The van was brand new and super comfortable. The pace was relaxed and Dario was informative. He even helped me in my quest to learn more Italian.

Very disappointed! This is not a TOUR it is an expensive taxi ride in a nice car. Additionally we were not informed prior to leaving on the tour and only told after visiting Monreal that Castelbuono was closed and not available. Also upon our return to our B&B upon receiving his tip, which obviously the driver thought was not enough, the driver made a rather rude comment. Just be forewarned that the word TOUR is misleading, it’s a taxi ride.

Fantastic tour. Our drive was amazing so informative, drove very safe through some very small streets. It is self guided when you get to the locations but the drive is wonderful and every stop is beautiful. Cefalu lunch was fantastic and what a beautiful beach. I highly recommend this tour.

The trip out of Palermo was breathtaking. Dario was very flexible & offered alternatives for the day. He was cheerful as well as informative . Cefalu is beautiful & the Mediterranean was calm & warm. Lunch with fresh seafood & great service added to the day.

The tour did not happen. We were mislead as to the pick up point. Very disappointing and lack of communication by the tour people.
