A great trip despite bad weather, rainy foggy day in mid of summer. The guide is very knowledgeable and all tickets are covered.

I highly recommend this excursion. The guide is very knowledgeable and friendly. Everywhere we went was excellent. The tour includes a breakfast and lunch at local restaurants where the food was excellent . The Blue Mountains are beautiful and everything is included in the tour (breakfast, lunch and rides at park). It was a wonderful day!

The tour guide was very knowledgeable. Took us to the different places before it got crowded. Believe me it gets really crowded and just changes the nature experience. Food was delicious. Photo ops were fantastic. I really recommend this tour.

Caveat emptor!! This was one of the single worst tours I have ever been on. (For reference, I have been to 6 continents and 50+ countries.)
The tour guide demanded we communicate outside the Viator application. While using the 3rd party messenger, the guide changed the time and place of pick up without confirming with us. When we “missed” the changed pickup location, he forced us to take an expensive Uber to pickup the tour or forfeit the entire tour fee.
The tour operated despite the severely inclement weather conditions in the mountains. The guide knew that we would be unable to see anything on the sightseeing list. We ended up having to buy rain jackets because of the pelting rains. A rebooking option should have been offered. Why spend all that money to see the inside of a van?
Lunch was served at a local restaurant, which is run by a bizarre religious sect. There were limited food options and the food was mass produced and rushed.
When we finally returned to Sydney after having seen nothing of the Blue Mountains, the tour guide refused to drop us back at our Airbnb (pickup and drop off was included in the fee). We incurred another Uber ride fee to get home.
To make matters worse, the guide was rude and indignant to the tour group members. It was so bad that my husband and I tried to make alternative arrangements to get back to Sydney early. This was impossible because of the remote location of the tour.
I’m short, Viator has refused to help with the issues. We feel the tour went on simply to collect the fees, not to show us anything of value.
Cancel or walk quickly away from this scam!!

Our tour guide, Mic, was great. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and tried very hard to please all of us.
It was great fun and very interesting
The only bad thing about it was the bus. Way too small, crowded and uncomfortable, especially for an all day tour.

As our family of 8 is a first-time tourist in Sydney, we had the pleasure of taking this Blue Mountain day tour and it was an unforgettable experience. The ride was comfortable and we enjoyed the picturesque countryside while the driver/tour guide, Manash of Zanza Pty Ltd, shared interesting facts and stories about the area.
We made several stops along the way to have morning coffee and scones, and another stop at a local restaurant for lunch. Both places were relaxing and welcoming. And the food was delicious. It was also a good time to get to know the other tourists.
We also visited a zoo, where we came up close and had pictures with kangaroos, koalas, and other Australian animals.
We truly enjoyed our tour. As with our previous tours in other countries, we were very much interested to learn and understand the history and culture of the area. We also now have high regard and respect for the history of the Aboriginal people.
However, all this beautiful experience was marred with issues by the tour guide, Manash. While at the zoo, I was about to purchase a ticket for my kids photo with the koala, he approached my daughter and handed 2 tickets. I asked what it was, his quick reply was “for the photos with the koala”. And he left. He did not mention about repayment. We went ahead with the photos. I even gave the other ticket to the other solo-traveler guy. We needed just 1 photo.
After the zoo, we traveled back to the city. He asked the passengers where they wished to be dropped off. One family from NZ asked to be dropped off at an outlet mall. (He even had a conversation with this family that he is also rushing to go to a store to buy something for someone). I, at first, wondered. As I recalled that this tour included a cruise (see photo, 2nd to the last in the list). Suddenly, I wasn’t sure. But when I later checked, it did include “Enjoy your relaxing scenic river cruise to Opera House and Darling Harbour”.
As we were nearing the hotel, he dropped us off 3 blocks away as he had to rush, rather than “Return to the original departure point”. He asked for our email address before we got out of the van, as he is to send our pictures taken with HIS cellphone. But surely, no mention of the ticket payment.
A day later, he message my son, asking for the 60 AUD for the 2 tickets, with the instruction to leave the cash with our hotel front desk.
I am a long time user of Viator (you may check my tours in Rome, Paris, Barcelona, Greece, various cities in the US and Asia, to name a few) and have been happy using this for all of our family trips.
The worst thing is when I received an email from Manash, where he wrote: Share your experiences of how did you run away with my $60″. Thus, I am writing here TO SHARE TO ALL HOW NASTY THIS TOUR GUIDE, MANASH, TREATS HIS GUETS. How dare him accuse me of this measly amount when I actually paid US$2,066.64 (3,090.14 AUD) for this trip, booked in the evening before the tour.
Me and my family have high regards with Viator and I hope Viator will look into this.

Lloyd of London was an excellent tour guide! The two restaurants he took us to were first rate! He was very knowledgeable and funny! Certainly a tour to go on if you are a first time Sydney or Australian visitor!

Wonderful experience with an experienced knowledgeable guide! Comfortable ride as bus wasn’t packed. It was just the right amount of time and needless to say the sights were stunning. Do it!

This would have been a 5 Star experience however we were not picked up & dropped off at our hotel & we didn’t “finish with the leisurely cruise along the Parramatta River to Sydney’s Circular Quay”. Both as advertised.
This tour is a great way to explore the Blue Mountains; knowledgeable guide (& good driver) with a small group in a comfortable, luxury van.
The morning snack & lunch were very good, great choice of venues.
Featherdale Wildlife Park was outstanding.
A long day that goes by all too quickly.

What a lovely Anzac day in the Blue Mountains. Menashe, our tour guide and coordinator, was very professional and provided an excellent afternoon. Yemendeera – my apologies for any misspellings – led the Aboriginal Tour down the Blue Mountain Trails and was entertaining, informative and charming. He generously shared lots of information about aboriginal cultures, their languages, and traditional medicinal and practical uses of the native plants we walked by.
Menashe was mindful of difficulties that Anzac day might cause and took care to drive routes that helped avoid traffic and to see the most of the countryside. He ordered the coffee and delicious cinnamon doughnuts and lunch ahead of time – which helped us skip the very long lunch line. A lovely day out at the Blue Mountains.
