This was a really fun tour, a must do while in abu dhabi. It starts at 7.30 am to avoid the heat and it takes 1 hour to get to the desert area. Once there i tried camel ride, sand boarding and dune driving in the landcruiser. Overall very nice tour

What a brilliant experience! Our driver was great, friendly and very skilled. Took loads of photos for us too. Good as you go in a group so you can see the other vehicles and what your vehicle is doing or about to do which makes it even more impressive! Paid a little extra for our son to do quad biking when we did camel riding which was also really fun. Sandboarding and camel ride also great fun. Definitely recommend the whole experience.

Dune bashing was lots of fun. The camel ride is a bit hokey. I have done camel rides elsewhere where you actually got to ride out to a dune, take some photos and then ride back. Still short but didn’t feel like a child’s pony ride. I think something like that would have improved this tour, as there was time because we sat around at the camp doing nothing for 30-45 minutes.

I got a very detailed information note before the tour. And our guide (Aziz, such nice person) contacted me directly about pick up time. Everything was according to the given time, it was very important for ne since I had to get on the plane.
Aziz make sure that everyone is having great time, he also took many photos and videos of us. Since I am travelling solo, I really appreciated that.
