What to expect
After meeting your host in Çerçiz Topulli Square, you’ll walk to the Master Nurce Workshop. First, you’ll get introduced
to the wood and different types used for carving. Then you’ll pick what you want to create and start with a simple design on paper. 1
Next comes the hands-on part: you’ll carve your chosen item under the supervision of master craftsman Viktor Nurce, learning technique as you go.
While working, you can sip rakia or homemade wine (your choice). At the end, you leave with a finished handmade piece—and that satisfying
“I made this” feeling. 2
