Thankful that we picked the full day tour because you really needed the entire day to explore the Port Arthur Historic site. The full day gave us a deeper exploration into Port Arthur and Tasmania’s overall history.
If you are lucky you will get Mark as your guide who was super informative, helpful and overall a fantastic guide!
The full day tour includes some stop overs into Richmond and a few breath taking look outs.
Overall I highly highly recommend a tour as you will learn way much more than you would if you went on your own.

I only gave it 4 stars due to the weather
It was a good day out with time to take in Port Arthur
The Driver gave us lots of information and a couple of extra stops on the way back to see some interesting sites
The only thing I would say was we did not have the running of the day there explained very well given times for being shown round and boat time and leaving time not explained that the rest of the time was ours to explore the site but all was well in the end a very good day

Port Arthur is a place all Australians should visit at least once in their life time.
I will absolutely be going back there again.
Highly recommend the Get Your Guide App to book all your tours. Easy to use, good cancellation policy if your plans change and lots of great tours to choose from.
