Where do I buy a Yosemite National Park pass?
They are available at the gate entrance from the park ranger. You may experience a long queue of cars waiting to purchase the pass. What we did was we bought The America the Beautiful Pass at the tourist information center in California. When we arrived at the gate a ranger was walking down the queue of cars checking the passes and this saved us quite a lot of time in the queue.
You will require your ID which is checked with your pass at the gate entrance.
We had heard stories that passes were hard to get and should be bought in advance. Whilst this option is available online and it may still be the best option we choose to purchase from the information office.
