Girls trip to Melbourne and this tour added an extra memorable day to our vacation!!!
Paul was very informative on the various wines and the history of the region! We had multiple tastings at some gorgeous vineyards and lunch (we had the duck) paired with a glass of wine was delicious!!!
Paul’s knowledge and warm personality added to the tour, although we did get very lucky and had a brilliant bunch of people on the tour with us !!
100% recommend this tour if you have a free day in Melbourne – worth it for sure!!!

Fantastic wine tour with Paul around Yarra Valley. I was back and forth whether it was too pricey before I went but definitely worth the money. You visit 5 vineyards, 6 wine tastings per place, which also includes some expensive reserves. Furthermore there’s a high quality lunch with a glass of wine at one of the vineyards. Paul is very knowledgable about Melbourne and its wines. The bus is also very comfortable.

As part of the first wine tour of three I had booked (one in Melbourne and two in South Australia), I wasn’t too sure what to expect as I had never done a wine tour before. As it turns out, it was awesome! Paul was incredible, handled everything from start to finish with prompt communication about pickup times and he was a great addition at each of the five wineries we visited, giving some additional pieces of info and useful tips. I also didn’t realise there would be some commentary about Melbourne on the roughly hour long trip to the first winery which was pretty interesting to hear (and he used a microphone so everyone could hear, but it was never too loud which was great).
All five wineries hit the mark although five is quite a bit so be prepared to use the spittoon! The people you go along with to can always make or break these kinds of tours too but the gang was awesome and really varied geographically which was cool to see. Paul also made purchasing wine seamless to handle as you would purchase wine and he would transport it back to the bus and add your name to it; a small detail but extremely helpful at the end of the day.
My only real advice for travellers is if you pick a hotel for your pickup location, later change the hotel and update the pickup point, they may not receive the updated information so it’s best to just confirm that the update has been received so you don’t end up walking 2km to your pickup point like I did 😅

We were picked up from our hotel promptly by Paul, our guide, who was both personable and professional. He provided us with commentary throughout our tour visiting the vineyards of the Yarra Glen. Highly knowledgeable on the subject matters relating to the wines, their history etc as well as the local area, Paul even provided highlights by seeking out kangaroos that dwell in the Glen!
The visit to the Yering Vineyard was capped off with an excellent lunch in what is a fantastic setting. We visited five vineyards in all. The wines were wonderful and the staff at each welcoming and informative.
This is a highly recommended tour and excellent value for money.

Our tour guide Robert L. was simply outstanding in every sense of the word. His working knowledge of the local area and the wineries we visited was remarkable. His easy going personality was refreshing and his attention to detail made the entire day both relaxing and enjoyable. The wineries were first class and provided a wide range of experiences for everyone. This was one of the best tours I have ever taken and recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone who has an interest in the wines of the Yarra Valley.

We had an excellent day trip out to Yarra Valley. This is a small group tour but we lucked out with only 6 of us, which made it even better!!
The vineyards picked to visit brought something different to the table and were a really good mix of well established in the area and new and funky! Wine and cheese pairing was delicious (the goats cheese!!) as was Lunch at Yering Station.
Cam was extremely knowledgable and approachable, no question too silly which was great for us learning some more!

We had a fabulous day with Cam. De Bortoli, Yering Station, Payton & Jones, Dominique Portet, and Oakridge. All great places to taste wine, all making really good wines. Lunch at Yering Station was very good, both the food and the service. The one visit that really stood out to me was Payton & Jones. I really appreciate the small wineries that produce really good wines.

Definitely a tour company we will be wanting to use next time in Melbourne.
