    This was a great tour.
The bus leaves from behind Dome and we had a lovely small group on that day. The highlights were the beautiful beaches we stopped at along the way, seal watching and the ride on the old train – I even got to be the train driver!
Lots of fun and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Lovely Tour guide for Grande Rottnest Tour. Lovely lunch provided, which made it good value .Boat trip too expensive in my opinion. The train ride was cancelled which was nt really compensated.

Nine friends all seniors really enjoyed this tour. A train ride, a tour of the tunnels, and a fantastic drive around the whole island, stopping at many scenic spots along the way. We spotted whales, dolphins, and New Zealand fur seals.

It was an enjoyable day. Parts like the tour of the gun tunnels were a bit boring and lunch was very average but the beaches were really beautiful.

Really enjoyed the WW2 gun battery and the old historic items and buildings on the island. Hardly saw any Quokka in the wild but saw dozens of them in and around the main village late in the afternoon. The only negative was the mens toilets which were filthy and stinking, not what you would expect in a modern country like Australia. The porcelain had a massive amount of encrusted urine obviously built up over a period of time. I passed the cleaner as he was leaving and noticed he had hosed the facility out, but it required more, including the use of proper cleaning compounds. The cleaning contractor and contract manager are clearly not doing their job properly. However over all a great place to visit and highly recommended.

My ferry to Rottnest arrived late to start the tour, but the staff and tour guide made sure I missed as little as possible and made the trip well worth it.

My type of tour, quick, full of information, driving slowly by, in the bus, a lot of little things to see and stopping only at the main attractions eg: the tunnels and war gun and the lighthouse. Tour guide , Bob, was full of information about the island, the places we passed, but didn’t stop at, he also had a story to tell about them, he made the trip interesting. Unfortunately we didn’t get the train ride as it had broken down which meant we did that part of the tour in the bus also. Lunch was a chicken wrap, cookie and water and a selfie with a quokka!

Fabulous day at Rottnest Island. Highly recommend it as brilliant day out. Easy process, ferry ride across, bike hire and easy to get around.
We had our extended family group of 8 and we all loved it. Cycling around the island was great, stopped at look outs, lighthouse, madatory selfie with a quokka and had a swim at a gorgeous little private beach (there were several options)
Lunch at a cafe and finished off with drinks at the pub – great day!

The train ride and the Oliver Hill gun tour were great – we didn’t expect the bus tour of the island too, so that was a bonus. Our guide told us many interesting facts and seeing the osprey landing on its nest was a treat. Lunch was tasty too!

The your in general was good. I wish it would make a few more stops, rather than seeing to scenes thru the window of the coach.

Train broke down had to transfer to bus. Lunch was supposed to be chicken wraps. No chicken in wrap. Guide was great stopped for all good views and Quokka’s

Train/bus driver, very informative, stunning scenery, will be going back again, would be good if tours were timed better for ferry arrivals and tour departure

  15. Helen_R

All good. Guides excellent. Wonderful relaxed day. I could do it again sometime. Lunch was nourishing and fresh.

We decided to do the tour because rain was predicted and it was a good opportunity to see Rottnest. We didn’t realize the amount of information shared and the beautiful scenery.
Because of the rain we had to eat on the bus but it was difficult to eat because the bus was moving. It would have been better to have stopped so we didn’t have to juggle yummy role and water.

The wildlife was amazing. The eagles the nest and also the Quakkas in the wild. The volunteer on our tour of the tunnels was helpful with lots of answers to the many questionand the tunnels
