Since there were only three of us, we had a private trip. Was really very pleasant. Saint-Paul-de-Vence was an absolute highlight. The place is so beautiful. I didn’t like Antibes that much. It was the last day of the film festival in Cannes, but the driver got us through great.

Our driver/guide Buffy was excellent. He speaks very good German and is an excellent driver. The time for the excursions is almost too short for a 1/2 day, because the towns of Antibes and Saint Paul de Vence would be nice if you could admire and enjoy them longer. 45 minutes each in these towns are too short, especially since you have to march through alone and for the first time have no local knowledge. Watching Cannes just for the red carpet isn’t worth it either. The 5 hours of driving and short stops is very stressful. We would have enjoyed the tour more if we had had the information beforehand that everything was scheduled in this way.

Our trip was very nice, and our driver and guide Mathias made it amazing! He was very informative and really helped us learn the history of all the places we’ve visited during our 5 hour journey. We really recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see and learn more about some extraordinary places of Cote d’Azur!
