Our tour guide name is also Mr. Shin who was very knowledgeable and shared a good amount of information about Japan. It was an enjoyable tour, and we love the beautiful Toshogu Shrine, Lake Chuzengi and Kegon Falls. It’s a must see!

The entire trip was very interesting. The bus ride was comfortable and the guide’s remarks were excellent. Nothing was wrong with the tour. The problem came when I went to the meeting spot. They gave me a hard time because of my age. They insisted my friend come along to help me, even though I am completely capable of doing the tour on my own. I call this age discrimination. I suppose it’s also a way to make more money. I probably won’t be using Viator again.

It was a great tour, and the town of Nikko is worth visiting, it’s one of the best in Japan. However, I think the tour guide’s English should be on a much higher level.

Excellent tour with an excellent guide , Ito-San was wonderful and Nikko itself was very picturesque.

The weather was raining but we still have a great time. Our guide was very informative and we learn a bit about the history of Japan. The traditional Japanese lunch was great and plenty of food.

My Nikko trip was made truly memorable thanks to our amazing tour guide. His kindness and sense of humor made the entire experience delightful. What stood out the most was his wealth of knowledge about Nikko, and his genuine excitement in sharing it with us. I couldn’t have asked for a better guide for this adventure.

This tour did not disappoint and our tour guide Taki was a great host. The only thing that was a “surprise” was when we met at the meeting point, we were told that the bus would not be returning to the hotel and that we would have the take the bullet train and JR back to our hotel. IT was explained to us that today was the end of a 3 day weekend for the locals and that traffic jams would prevent the bus from bringing us back to the hotel. In addition, they said they need to charge us an additional 3300 yen per person because of the cost of the bullet train and JR. And being a first time traveler to Japan, navigating the bullet train and JR at rush hour was a bit harrowing to say the least. But our tour guide gave us instructions on which stop to get off and back to our hotel.

The experience at Nikko was excellent. The guide was excellent. The bus ride was long due to traffic jams.

Really nice day! The guide Jo was really friendly and knowledgeable. He certainly made the day! The lunch was very good – I would definitely recommend this for a few hours out of Tokyo and to see outside the city

Our Tour guide Fumi-san is very knowledgeable in the history and culture of this region. We visited the Kirifuri Falls instead of the Kegon Falls. The view of the Kirifuri Falls is spectacular. Lunch was good. The traffic on the way back can be heavy in the evening. Highly recommended trip.

Shin San was very good. Appreciated getting to the falls by changing the order of our trip.
    We’ll organized.

The ride both ways is long. Our tour director helped keep us entertained. The water falls and lake were nice but the Temple was well beyond my expectations. My friends were very impressed with this pick. I was very happy with the experience.

We had a fantastic day in Nikko Nationalpark. The weather was fine, japanese food very good and the Toshogu shrine absolutely amazing. Pick up was on time and booking very easy.

This was a fun experience! Our tour guide was very nice and spoke English well.
Food was just ok but it was convenient so I would suggest getting it anyway. They had an illustration on how to eat everything which was helpful because I don’t know much about Japanese food.
You must be on time for an the bus departure or they will leave without you, so is suggest being at the bus a few minutes before the departure time for each stop.

This was a great day trip. We were a group of 5 adults, ages between 31-34. Joy was incredible and so knowledgeable.
World Heritage of Nikko Toshogu was so cool and beautiful! Joy gave us a tour and then we had about 45 minutes of free time to explore, which was super nice.
We had a traditional Japanese lunch, which was delicious, and I highly recommend you add it on to your trip! They had vegetarian options available as well.
The lake was gorgeous but freezing. We were able to get come beautiful shots!
Kegon Falls is a great spot too – just beautiful. They have some food you can purchase – our group enjoyed vanilla ice cream with fresh homemade strawberry jam and a grilled fish on a stick!
Our driver was wonderful getting us there and back.
Thank you so much for this experience!

Our guide, Take, was kind, warm, informative, efficient, and just one massively great human being. His lecture about history of Japan was like attending comfortable class. On the way back from Tosho Gu Shrine, I got lost and he looked for me with warmest embrace. The driver also was kind and super at driving.

The tour guide was good. But everything else, not so much. Couldn’t even see the waterfall. Way too many people in one tiny space, I felt herded around the temple as everyone tried to get money, no one explained what the food actually was. It was a very long day and probably not worth it.
