Mustafa and the driver were very friendly, polite and on time. They drove me to all the pyramids and the Sphinx, provided me with great explanations and took a lot of pictures. I highly recommend this tour.

This tour is fantastic if you’d want to visit all major pyramids Egypt. We started the day by visiting the pyramids of Giza and the Sphynx, after which we stopped at an antiquities place where you can make your own name in a cartouche in silver or in gold (that was cool). After lunch we continued to Sakkara and Dahshour where we got to see the bent pyramid, the step pyramid, and got to enter one of the pyramids (very nice experience). We also got to visit a papyrus store where they show you how they make it.
The tour company is very professional and our guide Khaled Mamdouh was great sharing his passion and telling us all about ancient Egypt stories. He was not the type of guide who pushes you towards buying things or seeing an attraction that needed extra payment, he gives you the choice and advises you and lets you decide which was very good of him. And of course he was always welcoming of any question that hit our minds 🙂

The tour was fast specially at the great pyramid of Giza, the guide walked really fast that he was very far away from as not guiding at all. and the 30 minute camel ride was more like 10 minute.
The guide will take you to shops like papyrus shop and oil shop or cotton shop that you didn’t ask for for a pressure to buy which I didn’t and if it was the company policy should’ve been disclosed since the begning and if I pay for 9 hour tour guide I would’ve loved to enjoy it and use the hours I paid for that service not for you guys to take me shopping. Not saying those places are not nice but I didn’t ask for them nor it was mentioned in the listing.
Our guide Mohammed or Mahamed(Ahmed) speak good English but felt like his eyes was in finishing the tour fast so he can go shopping!

There was a little confusion on entry ticket charges. I had already paid it; but I was told during the tour that it wasn’t paid. And I had to pay it. In the meantime, I raised a query with Viator and they confirmed that it was paid. So I got my money back. But such things disturbs your sightseeing. Hope Viator would take care of such things in future.
The only thing that we didn’t like was the weather 🙂 Try not to come during summers. It will really make your tour a little tough.
Or else everything was superb and well organized by Viator

Paula was a fantastic guide, and so thorough. We got to see everything in Dahshur and Saqqara with lots of interesting history and plenty of time for photos. Best of all, Paula was incredibly flexible and helpful; he even went down into the depths of the Bent Pyramid with me (NOT for the faint of heart or weak of legs, btw — I’m still sore) while my dad wisely walked around outside. We had so much fun exploring all the sites, and even my dad enjoyed shopping. If you end up going to the oil factory, don’t miss the hibiscus juice! And don’t miss out on traveling with Paula!

Overall the tour was good for the exception of being taken to a few stops that were not part of the itinerary (perfume shop, papryus paper shop) where we were met with a sales pitch to buy their products. Our guide Amir was really great, knowledgeable, and was a wonderful photographer. He was patient, answered all of our questions and never rushed us through any of the sites. Would 100% recommend him as your tour guide.

We ordered the tour to pick us up at our hotel at 8am and received a confirmation for the times and tour itinerary. The driver and guide never arrived. I began contacting them at 7:45am to tell them our location in the hotel lobby with no response. I frequently tried to contact them with the contact information provided and our concierge attempted to contact them multiple times by phone. We did this until 9:20am. We then decided to take an Uber to the pyramids and do a makeshift tour of our own as we didn’t want to waste our day in the lobby of our hotel. We ended up having a good time on our own despite the hiccups. It’s unfortunate that the tour didn’t happen, it looked fantastic based on the reviews. It unfortunately didn’t work out for us. It was also more upsetting that the company has not gotten a hold of me at all to apologize, especially since the What’s App messages have been read. No ‘I’m so sorry, there was a miscommunication’ or something. I have already put in for a refund, as this tour never happened.

The guide never showed up to pick me up for this tour. I texted and called the agency several times, without any answer. I contacted them days before to confirm, and they didn’t reply. They complete ignored me. It was my first day in Egypt and they just left me stranded. Luckily my hotel managed to arrange a last minute guide for me and I still had a good time and managed to see the pyramids. I am in the process of requesting a refund and talking to Viator about this experience as this tour is a scam, they take your money but don’t show up.
