My group was very pleased with the experience. I’m happy to provide them with services from great companies that do what they say and show great hospitality and adventure at the same time.

Great day with Bamboo and friends. Special note to Our guide Ford, great explanations and stories. All was great from transfert in super comfortable van, to trekking and rafting. Of course the best is the time with the elephants, the team is great and we had wonderful time.

We booked this for my birthday treat and we had a very memorable & fun time. Our young guide Tom was a blast- both a knowedgeable source of info and quite the comedian! We went for the all day elephant experience plus trek and white water rafting. The elephant portion was juat great- the animals seemed very well cared for and isjust a lovely experience for all.
The trek is quite a bit more challenging than advertised due to a bridge washout en route, so we opted to skip that and spent 2 hours lounging at the Wild River Cafe, while others hiked up the river abit. We loved a nice rest under the palapa on comfy picnic style mattresses. When the other guests came back about 90 minutes later we hit the river fo a super fun 30 minute run. We splashed around just the right amount and it was really great laugh out loud blast.
Highly reccomend both this tour and the company. Tremendous value, nice lunch and wonderfully playful leaddership by our man from the local Karen Hill Tribe… Mr. Tom!

I went on the half-day tour. I was picked up from my hotel in a very comfortable, air conditioned van.
We got to the elephant camp in about an hour and started off by feeding the elephants bananas, then grass. Then we made “medicine balls” and also fed those to them. We were able to mingle with the elephants – each elephant had a mahout, who made sure both human and animal were safe. There were no bull hooks or any kind of control implement used, only words and hand signals.
I was impressed with how well cared for the elephants are and how happy and friendly they were. We were told we could go into the river with them, but that if the elephants didn’t want to go into the water, they wouldn’t be forced to. The elephants that day couldn’t wait to get into the water and some of our group went in too.
After our time with the elephants, we were given a delicious lunch of pad thai and fruit.
Our guide spoke excellent English, and was funny and very attentive, making sure each human group member was doing okay.
This was an adventure like no other I’ve ever experienced. I’ll never forget it.

this was the best experience ive ever had!
As a city girl i dont know about trekking jungle terrain or river rafting, or elephant camps! so this was beyond what i have ever done. thank you Sam our tour guide! he was very funny and patient and kept us on schedule so we could enjoy the 3 activities (full day adventure). the trekking is not for the light- wear the proper shoes and be ready to keep up with humidity and the dirt, rocks, mud, river, roots, vegetation, incline, etc. 45 min walk up to waterfall, 45 min walk back down. this was so worth it! i loved it! 10 stars!!!

the whole trip was nice, however a bit far out of chiang mai but guess this is good for the elefants. the setup alltogether looked as if the elefants were treated well and good luck no such things like riding them or circus was part of the visit, the food was boring and too safe (pad thai for children), would have loved to get the chance to eat something local, as well it would have been nice to tell more about the different elefants what was there story etc

Great trip! Our guide was Ford, he was super nice & knowledgeable. Elephants are simply incredible- it seems like Bamboo really care for them. Hike was a lot of fun but might be a little too difficult for elderly or someone who is significantly out of shape. Water rafting was probably my personal favorite! Definitely plan on getting wet!

The tour was absolutely fantastic. Our wonderful guide Pupae went the extra mile at every step of the journey and impressed us all with her vast knowledge of the area, the local fauna and the elephants. The day-trip is really affordable considering that it offers a wide array of fun activities like trekking and rafting. The Pad Thai that we had for lunch was prepared with care and was absolutely delicious. Huge thank you to the whole team and Pupae. Would definitely recommend!

We had an absolute blast! The elephants were magnificent! We got to feed, Pet and learn all about them. Lunch was delicious. The hike was beautiful and the waterfall at the end was well worth it! The white water rapids were a perfect cool down. The kids had such a good time!

Nice to get out of the town!
    Great guides, well-run operation.
Elephants seemed well cared for, and as far as we could tell, they never forget.

This was an experience of a lifetime. The family-owned elephant sanctuary was a lesson in how to promote wildlife without exploiting wildlife. The limited number of visitors made the experience more intimate. The elephants were free to interact with us or ignore us, and thankfully because we came bearing food, they accepted us as friends. This was a day well spent.

Stay with elephants in a small group and you can enjoy time with them. And amazing bathe with them.
