Marina, our guide, was truly exceptional. She is a blue badge guide which means she is top notch. She knew every answer to our many questions, and her knowledge of history and interesting stories along the way made her truly outstanding. She was accommodating, made sure each person was doing well, and was flexible to meet our interests. We take private Viator tours all over Europe, and she was one of the very best. As with these day long tours, wear comfy shoes and be prepared to walk and stand a lot. Marina was very understanding if we needed a rest. We are fit people but walking on uneven ground and cobblestone at times and standing on hard surfaces all day is more tiring so be ready (typical for any full day tour).
Tremendously enjoyable day! Completely worth every penny. (Don’t forget to tip your guide well, too. They work very hard to make your experience a great one and covid really hit their industry hard for the last two years).

This tour, led by Denissa, was informative and comprehensive. She sent great information about riding the train to meet her, which made our start easy. We had one member of our group have some physical challenges. She quickly got a wheel chair and he was able to continue. In each venue, she shared vast amounts of info that allowed us to better understand each place. It was a lot of walking, so if you chose this tour, you need to be in fairly good shape.

Denisa was an outstanding tour guide. We started at Westminster Abbey and ended at the tower of London. This was a walking tour, with public transportation between sights when walking was too far. It’s a great way to see London, especially since we had good weather that day. With rain it would have been more difficult.
The itinerary listed was quite ambitious. We spent almost two hours at Westminter Abbey, walked to Buckingham Palace and saw the end of the changing of the guards, took the tube to St Paul’s for 30 minutes, had lunch and went to the Tower of London for the remainder of the day. That was all we could do, and it was enough. Denisa nevery ran out of history for us and we thoroughly enjoyed her company all day.
